Maro Garden

Aamiainen oli loistava, Maria oli todella taitava kokki ja valmisti meille kaikenlaista herkkua aamupalaksi.

- J’ai beaucoup aimé le design de l’hôtel. La chambre est orientée vers le jardin tout en gardant l’intimité. Ça été un réel plaisir de se réveiller face à tant de verdure.
- La terrasse à côté de la piscine était hyper fraîche et agréable. C’est un réel atout de pouvoir s’y rafraîchir.
- On se comme à la maison, car Maria l’hôte était très accueillante et chaleureuse. J’ai beaucoup aimé nos conversations.
- Le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel, quel plaisir de retrouver des croissants après deux semaines au Sri Lanka

An exceptional and very hospitable place. We were well taken care of by the greatest host, Maria. It truly felt like home during our stay. So happy we chose this place for our honeymoon.

Maria ist eine sehr charismatische, präsente Gastgeberin und kümmert sich persönlich um ihre Gäste. Ich hatte während des Aufenthalts Geburtstag und sie hat den Tisch extra mit Blumen geschmückt und sogar einen Kuchen gebacken – vielen Dank nochmal! Der Pool ist toll, umgeben von hohen Bäumen, in denen die Affen umherspringen. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und gemütlich mit wunderschönem Blick ins Grüne. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker :)

Der Aufenthalt war ein Traum! So tolle Bungalows und so ein nettes Surrounding. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und würden immer wiederkommen! 10/10! Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Je ne sais même pas par où commencer tant ce séjours à Maro Garden était incroyable !
L’emplacement est idéal, à 10min maximum en tuk tuk du centre de Ahangama, au calme loin de l’agitation de la ville.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres, très bien décorées avec un soucis du détail. Tout le mobilier est beau, tout est parfaitement choisi pour une ambiance harmonieuse et chaleureuse.
La piscine et très agréable tout comme le « coin » petit déjeuner. Les petits déjeuners d’ailleurs sont tellement bons ! Tout est préparé le matin à la minute et c’est divinement bon !
Mais ce qui fait le charme et le « plus » de cet hôtel c’est vraiment sa propriétaire Maria ! Une hôte d’une gentillesse et d’une bienveillance extrême, qui fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez comme à la maison. Et c’est le cas !

Our stay at Maro Garden was absolutely exceptional. The architecture, beautifully integrated into the surrounding jungle, along with the location itself, makes this place both stunning and incredibly peaceful. Every detail has been carefully considered; nothing is left to chance.
The breakfast is delicious, with high-quality ingredients prepared with great care and taste.
Finally, Maria is a wonderful host : inspiring, flexible, warm, and truly attentive. An unforgettable experience.

I love everything about this little piece of paradise! The location - hidden away in a quiet neighbourhood in the jungle but just minutes from the beach, the stunning minimalistic design and the way it blends in with the surrounding nature, the exceptional breakfasts, my beautiful room, and the warmest hospitality from the owner!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt! Sehr familiär, klein und herzlich! Maria ist eine geniale Gastgeberin, welche auf die Gäste eingeht und dem Hotel eine Persönlichkeit gibt. Mango und Covid sind zusätzliche Benfits :)

Spectacular property in every way - beautiful, clean, minimalistic. Amazing quiet location surrounded by nature (10mins away from the action though if that’s your thing). Fantastic sizeable delicious breakfast and an absolutely wonderful host, Maria.

Mycket hög standard för att vara på Sri Lanka. Fantastisk frukost som tilltalar en foodie. En lugn oas i hektiska Ahangama. Rent, fint och estetiskt tilltalande. Inbjudande och välkomnande ägare.

A TROPICAL PARADISE! Truly one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed in! The room was simply stunning, with great views of the jungle and garden. The pool and rest area was so peaceful and welcoming. Fantastic authentic breakfasts with brilliant conversations with the host Maria, who was just an absolute delight in making our stay such a special experience.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Mariya war einfach einmalig. Bereits beim Check-in wurden wir unglaublich herzlich empfangen, und diese außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft hat sich während des gesamten Aufenthalts durchgehend gezeigt. Ehrlich gesagt haben wir so etwas in dieser Form noch nie erlebt – die Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit waren wirklich beeindruckend.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück: Jeden Morgen war es ausgewogen, mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet und bot eine tolle Abwechslung – ganz klar 10/10.
Auch die Unterkunft selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sie ist sehr modern, hervorragend ausgestattet und verfügt über einen großen Pool. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll, modern eingerichtet und laden zum Wohlfühlen ein.
Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder besuchen und werden diesen Aufenthalt ganz sicher nie vergessen.

Ganz ganz tolle Unterkunft mit super frühstück, total ästhetisch, wunderschöner Pool und die beste Gastgeberin! Ein Muss in Sri Lanka!
