Truly magical piece of paradise in the jungle.
Pros:

What John & Cote have created at Camp Akumal is truly incredible. The attention to detail is unmatched — everything you could possibly need is there, all while keeping the peaceful, calming essence of the jungle at the heart of it all.

The accommodation is spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals, drinking water provided, plus tea and fresh coffee ready to enjoy. They’ve even thought of the little things — games for the kids, bath and beach towels, and toiletries all included.

Honestly, John and Cote have thought of everything.

This has been one of the best places we’ve stayed on all of our adventures, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Pros:

This is a unique place a short drive off the road and you are surrounded by trees and a beauty.
The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The road leading to Casa Akumal is a bit rough.

Pros:

Camp Akumal was super cozy, we felt like home, it’s close to everything but isolated in the beginning of a jungle. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved it and we would definitely recommend it!

Die Unterkunft ist super toll im Dschungel gelegen. Wir haben Affen gesehen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gemütlich.Es ist herrlich ruhig .Die Pools sind toll!
Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und herzlich und geben sich viel Mühe.Wunderbarer persönlicher Empfang mit Willkommensschild!

Calme, propre, pratique et accueillant. Comme à la maison.
Pros:

Idéalement situé pour visiter les cenotes alentours, aller voir les tortues et profitez des belles plages toutes proches, sans être dans un ressort.
Un environnement + proche de la nature, des hôtes très accueillants un livret fait maison avec amour où vous trouverez pleins d’infos sur les endroits à visiter et les bonnes pratiques locales.

Excelente opción para relajarse cerca de Akumal.
Pros:

El personal es excelente y cálido, el sitio está rodeado de selva y se pueden ver muchas aves en los alrededores. Las habitaciones son cómodas y el hotel cuenta con estacionamiento privado.

We loved feeling as if we were staying in nature, and the incredible warmth of the hosts.
Pros:

An oasis in the jungle. Feel connected to nature. John and Maria are top-notch hosts, incredibly helpful and friendly and responsive and kind and thoughtful.

Cons:

We had an issue with one of the bathrooms smelling. But they were quick to resolve it.

A wonderful stay
Pros:
