Staff's behavior is excellent, we are overwhelmed.
They do not have lift facilities, with luggage its difficult to go 2rd /3rd floor.
How central the hotel was and the food in restaurant is beautiful

Der Empfang war sehr nett. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war auch gut. Wir waren auf Rundreise, daher haben wir ein Hotel in günstiger Lage zu Glasgow gesucht. Die Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, wir haben uns dann aber doch für P&R in Glasgow entschieden und sind daher dann mit dem Auto gefahren. Frühstück ist günstig. Parkplatz kostenlos direkt am Hotel.
Die Einrichtung ist doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. In der Dusche Schimmel in den Fugen und die Toilette war leider auch nicht sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Das gesamte Treppenhaus (Lift funktionierte nicht) war nicht sehr einladend. Für eine Nacht noch in Ordnung. Leider hatten wir 2 Nächte gebucht, da ich mich auf die doch eigentlich guten Bewertungen verlassen habe. Im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Hotels auf unserer Rundreise war es aber leider nicht gut.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us in regard to us being central in visiting our family.
Overall, the food in the evening was really lovely and good value for money. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, friendly and attentive.
The facilities is the bedroom were of good quality including the shower gel and hand wash.
When we arrived to check in, we were told that the lift was broken but was advised our room was in the ground floor, however, the receptionist then informed us that she had given out ground floor room away to another guest which meant we were moved to the middle floor. We stayed for 4 days and when we left the lift was still not fixed. We feel this was unprofessional to inform us that our original room had been given to somebody else. However, for the inconvenience we were offered free breakfast for the duration for our stay which was lovely.
Overall the beds were uncomfortable and aren’t ideal if you plan on spending longer periods of time in your bedroom as the rooms would benefit from having a chair.
On our first night eating in the restaurant, we were not asked if we had any dietary requirements, my mum requested that she had no jalapeños on her burger but this was not listened too; this could have caused an allergic reaction.
Although the breakfast offered was lovely, I was disappointed that there were no Scottish breakfast options on the menu (black pudding and lorne sausage) this would have definitely added to the experience!

Room wasn’t as advertised, had no Netflix, very small, smaller tv than stated online, cold room during the night, very dusty and shower was dirty and bed was two single beds put together and not a king size so was uncomfortable to sleep.
Room was ok maybe a bit small.
