A friendly hotel in the centre of Kelso
Pros:

Friendly welcome and good breakfast.
Clean and warm room.
Very Central location in Kelso

Cons:

Quite small room and bed.
The hotel is on a cobbled street so there is noise from the road although this quietens down later in the evening.

Can't wait for our next visit .
Pros:

Breakfast outstanding with good quality meats and breakfast, all made to order. Good selection of breakfast choices on menu.
Help yourself buffet with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, honey , fresh milk, toast (bread was delicious) coffee , tea and fresh fruit juice

Dinner Menu - Lovely choice on all courses. Good selection drinks to accompany your meal .

Room was very comfortable. could not find anything to fault. Staff were very welcoming and helpful this made the stay most enjoyable.

Cons:

There's was nothing that we did't really like to be honest..

Lovely room food not great
Pros:

Room was great , very comfy bed , great shower and bath , location was spot on , the bar was busy with good atmosphere and a good choice of drinks , got parked right outside hotel which was nice .

Cons:

A bit disappointed with the food , we got dinner for valentine's day ,my partner got the duck but had to ask for a steak knife to cut ,I got haggis bon bons for starter which was 2 bon bons in a soup bowl full of peppercorn sauce and a 'wagyu' burger for main that was cooked within an inch of its life

Nice relaxing break, friendly efficient staff, any requests were dealt with (booking table)
Pros:

I liked everything about the hotel, nice modern bathroom, lovely fluffy towels and food was excellent.
