Muy buena atención del personal
El espacio tipo patio destinado al desayuno es mejorable.
Hotel aun en proceso de habilitacion final
Excellent location a must stay if your in Jaipur a 296 year old Haveli filled with history what a true privilege and a hidden charm for Jaipur! Breakfast was fantastic to!
Muy amable y cordial la atención del personal
La habilitación del comedor en el patio del primer piso no es la mejor y hay áreas que están subutilizadas o mal presentadas.
This has to be one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in. It is a 300 year old building known as a haveli that was then embellished by Samuel Swinton Jacob a British architect and engineer in the 19th century. The owners have restored 11 rooms so far. We stayed in room 111 which had stained glass above the windows with a beautiful tiled floor and period furniture with Indian style lighting. We felt special staying in this room and could really imagine the luxury of this haveli in its heyday.
The bed was vast with a large bathroom with bath and shower. The room has tea making facilities and a fridge.
DJ who’s family own the hotel offers a free tour of the building to explain the history. Take him up on the offer. It was fascinating and he is charming and very helpful with advice as to where to go and what to see in Jaipur.
They even have their Great great grandparents 1933 Ford Cabriolet gathering dust in the garage. Just so evocative of a bygone era.
Breakfast in the courtyard was delicious with continental and Indian options. Freshly made coffee on offer too!
Supper on the roof with views over the hills and lit up forts with the stars twinkling above. Magical. The aubergine masala is to die for and the layered paratha fresh and tasty! The staff are excellent and friendly especially Dhan Singh who was always there to help… seemingly 24 hours a day.
The location is really good. We walked back from the City Palace in 25 minutes but it is an easy tuktuk or uber ride.
This is a very individual heritage hotel that offers the discerning traveller a real insight into the long history of Jaipur’s havelis. The family have taken great pride in preserving the building for generations to come.
Go and stay there. You won’t be disappointed!
Nothing
Saba Haveli is a magnificent historic house with a truly fascinating story. We spent three wonderful nights enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel and had a beautiful, relaxing experience from the noise and bustle of the streets.
Both the owners and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming, making you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take a break from the constant street vendors trying to sell products or services.
We felt relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended – a perfect 10!
We had a wonderful stay in Saba Haveli. The place is quiet and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and takes care of the heritage of the place. The room we rented was very beautiful and clean. We visited during cold season and the staff gave us extra blankets and radiators to warm up. Also, my girlfriend had birthday, and the team of the hotel made a surprise for her, giving her a birthday cake. She was very happy:) Dhananjay, the keeper of this place, was taking care about us all along the way, and also gave us a wonderful tour around the place. It was a pleasure not only to visit this place, but to immerse kind and caring people who make this haveli live and preserve the family history. Thank you a lot!
Nothing.
Struttura a conduzione familiare, ambiente molto rilassante e cura assoluta per gli ospiti
We loved the type of accommodation, it had an authentic Indian feel which is one of the reasons we wanted to stay here. Our suite was clean, decorated beautifully with plenty of character and space. We were greeted with warm hospitality and were well looked after during our stay. The location was perfect for us and easy to find. The breakfast was really good especially in the setting of the courtyard. We had a choice of either an Indian breakfast or western. The staff were on hand and very helpful. We would definitely choose to come back and stay here.
The haveli is steeped in history and the architecture is stunning
The breakfast was bespoke and restaurant quality. I wish we had a chance to sample the evening dinner
The room was incredible - enormous with two king or queen beds, beautifully decorated and a giant arty bathroom with power shower
Connected to the property across the road is a gorgeous garden but sadly we didn't get a chance to use it. However, we did manage to enjoy the 360 views from the rooftop which offered a unique vantage point
However, all those great things said the star of the stay was the young owner Dhananjay. Always willing to help and always made us feel at home.
Departing and regret not sampling the dinner
Very nice Haveli, staff was very helpfully. Had a nice thali diner on the roof top
Big rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food! In a great location to see the sights too (Amber Fort, wind palace, city palace etc ). No complaints at all :) would stay again!
Nothing
Excellent, heritage haveli. Large comfortable rooms and bed. Our host, Dhananjay, was very gracious, warm and friendly. The breakfasts and the dinner the staff cooked was quite exceptional. Recommended for the unique experience.
The bathroom could use a bit more improvement.
This is a unique experience of living in a historical palace 🤩 full penetration into the history of Jaipur not only by observing sightseeings, but also by living like wealthy citizens of 18th century.
The rooms are huge! The staff was very kind, helpful, provided the best service and also told us about the history of the building!
Breakfasts are served by the order (not buffet). But everything is tasty and still a big variety of dishes are proposed.
Staff, manager extremely helpful
Cold
This is a hidden gem with spacious and decorative rooms in a traditional haveli. The location was excellent. Our breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Dhananjay, the manager, went over and beyond in providing advice on Ayurvedic clinics, where to find special tribal fabric and lots more. He surprised me with a birthday cake and candles, such a kind gesture. When leaving we had difficulty contacting our driver and Dhananjay spent a lot of time on the phone sorting it out. Strongly recommend you stay here.
