Cheap and cheerful stay
Pros:

Location was very good, on the corner right in front of the Herod gate. Rooms were clean and good size. The suhur was very nice. Simple yet delicious. Staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

Rooms were a little cold in February and the hot water wasn't constant. Bathrooms are quite outdated, the only setback with leaky sinks, doors not closing etc If they are renovated it would be perfect.

Lokalita vynikajúca.

Cons:

Ak platím 80 eur za noc, patrilo by sa, aby v hoteli skoro ráno som mal aj teplú vodu. Podľa slov majiteľa sa teplá voda zapína od 6.00 hod. do 22. hod. V posledné ráno po upozornení ju pustil skôr.

Pros:

The room is very spacious (three beds) and equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning for both cooling and heating, insect-net windows, a conference table, an armchair, a lamp, and a drawer unit. The room was very clean. Our rooms faced the Muslim cemetery (which I didn’t mind; the neighbours were extremely quiet).

The bathroom had a bidet and a shower with a sitting option. Breakfast was solid and typical for this part of the world. One can characterise this hotel as a budget option for a cheaper but safe travelling. That's the reason why I did not get 10*.

Rivoli hotel is located nearby old Jerusalem wall; entrance to "old" Jerusalem.
