Second visit
Pros:

I love the location if this hotel, and the staff and grounds are faultless, and very reasonable price too. We had both dinner and breakfast, which were delicious.

Cons:

The last time I stayed i gave the hotel 10/10 but on this occasion the bedroom and bathroom had lots of dust and hairs around. I have no issues with the room being a bit dated (for the price paid) but I felt that noone had stayed in the room for a while and needed freshening up.

Unfortunately poor. The place could be lovely but has been left to get into a poor condition.
Pros:

Staff are very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

The evening meal was terrible. I had pork belly and it was so tough I thought I was about to break the plate trying to cut it.
Breakfast was no better. Quality of ingredients was poor. Again bacon was too dry from being kept warm too long. The sausage was terrible, the mushroom were so soggy it was like a pile of mush. The potato Balls were soggy and grey due to soaking up the excess moisture from the mushrooms!!!
The carpets were grubby and ripped throughout the hotel.
In the room the bathroom floor was very stained I didn't really want to stand on it. The wall panels have grime in the joints. The bath has rust on it. The décor looked as if it had been rushed 10 years ago.

Great location, just needs a total refurb.
Pros:

The breakfast wasn't the best to be honest, we chose not to have breakfast on the second morning

Cons:

I understand the hotel is in line for a major refurbishment, it needs it, the threadbare carpets and old worn furnishings need an upgrade, a good clean wouldn't go amiss.
