I was very happy with my stay , after i asked to be in a different room.
Pros:

Great location, excellent staff and service

Cons:

First room we were assigned was a bunker. Not what i expected from the price.

Your own personal piece of tranqil paradise.
Pros:

I enjoyed the tranquility. I felt like I was the only guest there, only to find out later there were other people staying there. It is quiet.
The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. The AC worked perfectly. The room was exceptionally clean.
I also enjoyed the food. The restaurant is not heavily advertised, but when traveling alone, it nice to stay in for meals especially after dark. Alfredo arranged safe taxi travel for me. I felt safe and at peace at Casa Kau-Kan. I would absolutely recommend Casa Kau-Kan to friends and family. I would like to stay there again.

OK for one night
Pros:

Room was nice, beautiful beach and good options for dinner.

Cons:

First room they gave us was the farthest from the beach and pool and it smelled moldy so I asked to change rooms. Not sure why they assigned us that room since we were seemingly the only quests. Hotel manager called us a taxi for our 6:15am trip to airport and the driver was very drunk. Swerving and looked like he was falling asleep. Terrifying! Also, they did not leave any lights in the courtyard/pool area on for our early morning travel, and there was no one around that I could see so I had to use my phone light to get around. Also, the shade fell off when we tried to close the shade.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Dinner available next door. Huge beach and nice pool. Small, quiet hotel. Very spacious and attractive room.

Pros:

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, beautiful view, fridge in room. The AC wasn't working well and breakfast wasn't explained well. Lunch was good but there is limited food in the evening and a very long wait. The pools lovely though!

Perfect Location to Relax
Pros:

The place was extremely quiet and perfect for a relaxing time. The property is located right at Playa Larga, so it's a few steps away from the sandy beaches. Pristine facilities and well maintained. The staff was very nice.

Quiet and remote location.
Pros:

Great breakfast made to order. Pool was nice and location was remote and quiet.

Cons:

Wifi wasn’t great but that’s kind of the point of being on vacation. Also bring bug spray! Lol
