Great location and staff at a good price.
Pros:

Well located in Thamel, close to ”everything”, yet one step behind the street, making it quieter. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and recreation area on top floor. Good breakfast. Modern room, excellent cleanliness. I had a nice balcony towards the back.

Cons:

It seems to be very common in Nepal, but there is no divider between shower and toilet so everything in there get wet when showering. But I can live with that.

Best place to stay in Thamel
Pros:

I stayed in a couple of places in Thamel and this is by far the best. Super comfy rooms with hot water (ideal post-trek!). The staff are amazing - whether it's organising taxis, storing luggage, providing packed breakfasts or sorting laundry. I came back three times and will hopefully be back again. Oh - and the pool...LOVED it

Sehr gutes Hotel mit fantastischer Dachterrasse
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist Abseits vom Trubel Thamel und doch zentral. Die Zimmerausstattung ist einfach, aber gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und ebenfalls sehr ruhig. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Dachterrasse sowie das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant. Wir waren jeden Abend dort und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir würden das Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Kathmandu immer wieder buchen.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Dusche ist nicht abgetrennt, sodass man beim Duschen das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser setzt.

The manager and all of the staff were fabulous. They couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable. Great food when we had lunch as well. Lovely vibe alround

Comfortabel!
Pros:

Bedden lagen heerlijk! Comfortabele dekens en kussens.
Goede verlichting in de kamer.
Van alle gemakken voorzien.

Fijn om te kunnen zwemmen en op een van de 4 ligbedden te liggen.

Cons:

Zwembad was erg koud en water was niet helemaal schoon.
Douche duurde erg lang voordat deze warm werd. Ze gaven ook aan dat dit 2 min zou duren. Zonde van al het water!

Das Frühstücksbufette bzw. Lunchboxen bei frühen Abfahrten und Ausflügen. Top Sauna. Föhn vorhanden.
Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.
Sehr ruhig, sehr bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Das Bad war im vergleich zum Zimmer etwas abgerockt.

A class act all round with an owners attitude to match. Well done!
Pros:

A real can do anything attitude by all the staff. Marvellous food and a bar to match. I requested to change room on my second night and was immediately offered another 2 options!! View from roof was amazing. This place is a class act!

Cons:

1 The pool was freezing
2 Not the properties fault, but there is another hotel within a mile with a VERY similar name and every taxi took me there first so be PRECISE
