Cons:

directe wandelomgeving was niet zoals we gedacht hadden. Het lag aan een drukke weg. Niet meteen wandelmogelijkheden vanuit het hotel.

Disappointed
Pros:

The view from the outside bar

Cons:

Firstly, we were given the information from yourselves that we had booked a Superior room, which included a coffee maker and iron and a view!
Upon arrival we were shown to what appeared a family room as there was a 3rd single bed .
The room was in poor decorative condition considering that it is supposed to have had a refurbishment not that long ago!
No coffee maker, no iron!
When I went back down to the bar (which doubled up as Reception) to ask if this in fact was a Superior room, I was met by a guy who seemed unconcerned that I was obviously not happy, he said Booking.com have you down as a Standard double room, so that is what you have!
I have photos of some of the appalling things we discovered, i.e. dead fly's and spiders on the very tatty window sills which had paint peeling all over!
I then returned downstairs to show that we had booked a Superior room through you. Encounters the same guy who handed me over to a very nice lady, who still insisted we were in the room we had booked, she actually said that 'in fact you have been upgraded, because of the 3rd bed in the room! We didn't ask for this! I asked about the coffee maker and was told there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, I questioned the lack of an iron and was told there is an iron available! I showed her the photo of the view, which was the side of the roof!!When I showed her some of the photos I had taken, she did in all fairness offer to refund us if we found another hotel locally, at this late stage however we were never going to find anything.
So I would definitely not stay here again!

Sehr gutes Hotel
Pros:

Gutes Restaurant. Mehrere Frühstücksoptionen und Abendessen verfügbar. Viele Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Funktionierende und leise Klimaanlage, auch bei Temperaturen von über 33°C.
Wir waren bereits das 2. Mal dort.

Cons:

Keine Beanstandungen.

Convenient location.
Food was overall good and enjoyable.

Cons:

The dog-friendly room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, especially considering we were travelling with a 17-month-old child.
Visible dust and debris around door hinges, peeling wall coverings, damaged walls, cobwebs, and mold/mildew in the shower area.
General maintenance and housekeeping standards appeared poor.
When the issues were raised, the staff spoke to a colleague while facing away and simply stated that the room had already been cleaned, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Pros:

Location was perfect for traveling to Cheddar and western super mare. Beautiful views from the front of the property.
Air conditioning in the rooms was a bonus as it was a hot weekend.

Cons:

Service in the evening was slow in the restaurant (due to a large party) however staff did apologise for this (and meal was very nice when it came).

Great room, great service and lots of fun. Hope to return one day.
Pros:

I didn’t have breakfast. Used the tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Cons:

The bar closed too early in evening. I was at a big school reunion with a lot of friends. We didn’t want to go to bed that early.

Comfortable except for the dining green house room
Pros:

Cons:

The side dining area at the far end of the restaurant, very noisy and echoed with every laugh. Difficult to enjoy especially with hearing issues
