April 2026. Our stay was Thursday -Sunday. Not getting off until 4pm on Thursday, and traveling with 6 kids, 2 adults, and 2 vehicles, I made the decision to leave Friday morning. Front desk called me on Thursday afternoon around 3:30 to inquire when I would be checking in, that they close at 5. Which was great for me considering my circumstances. I informed them I would arrive in the morning around 8 or 9. We ended up arriving around 10am. A lovely couple was in front of me, and as it was my turn, the front desk associate greeted me BY NAME and had my parking passes and hotel keys ready!! Check in was so easy and such a breeze. We had a Tahoe and a blazer. We had plenty of available parking for each. Each time we returned, we had no issues utilizing the same parking spots. The apartment itself was great for us. We had plenty of room for everyone. Pool toys available for kids. 10 minute walk to the beach between the Westin and another resort. Plenty of bike parking options. Guest interactions were great. All of the staff interactions were great. 9/10 would go again

Cons:

Wish sauna had a water bucket for the lava rocks. Hot tub could have been hotter. Was Luke warm at best.

Wonderful and comfortable stay for family. Well worth it.
Pros:

Our 3 bedroom apartment was perfect...roomy, clean, comfortable, 3 bathrooms, and plenty open spaces to gather. Perfect for our little family gathering.

Cons:

Royal Dunes offered no amenities. The pool was closed and there is no free use of pickleball or tennis courts. We went nearby to use those facilities at reasonable rates.

Great stay, great office staff, great size unit.
Pros:

Location was excellent which was a big help for us moving out of a rental house close by. Close to the beach and close to shopping/main road way. The unit was larger than expected!

Cons:

Units still need a little updating (stove, couches, etc.) Elevators smelled nd there were lots of spider webs by the elevator on the lower level.

Excellent. Have already booked again.
Pros:

Location, friendly staff, the condo was perfect for our family of 5, excellent pools, plenty of things to do.

Cons:

Parking could have been better but wasn’t a huge problem. Just know the spaces are tight.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Everything was great.
The apartment is very well equipped for a comfortable family stay. The area is safe and perfect for walks, and it takes only 5 minutes to reach a wide, quiet beach. The pool is also great for both adults and kids.
The only small suggestion would be to consider updating the TVs to more modern ones, but that didn’t affect our overall great experience.
