Perfect for what we needed! Great location to the train
Pros:

The breakfast room in the morning was always so pleasant. I love Scandinavian style sleeping so the room was great. We even had a view of a mountain.

Cons:

The shower. It is so difficult to get in and out of. It is impossible to keep the water in the tub. There are signs that say "do not shower outside of the tub"- I can guarantee you nobody is doing that. It's just impossible to keep the water in it.

Well worth the stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. It was close to Interlaken West train station. It was also walkable to all the activities I had planned.

Great location, nice staff, great breakfast.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. It had lots of variety, and all the things I chose tasted good.

Cons:

The coffee from the coffee machine at breakfast wasn't great. It might be worth them checking the beans, or providing one coffee from the bar inclusive in the breakfast offer.

The facility is rundown. Corridor floors are uneven, squeak, carpet is old. Shower over the bath is too low and in a non workable position. Quicker to walk up the stairs than take the lift

The bathtub is so high that it’s not even comfortable. They make u sign a document that u can’t shower outside the tub which clearly says that people had been doing that simply cos bathtub is uncomfortable. Staff is okay and polite but it’s way too overpriced. Breakfast was nothing special.

Perfect hotel in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The property is gorgeous and right in the middle of everything. The rooms are large and incredibly clean. We loved our time here.

I am utterly appalled by this 4-star property. It feels like a neglected, low-end hostel.
After booking, my private details were sold to scammers who harassed me with WhatsApp messages and calls demanding my credit card for "booking confirmation at Hotel Krebs Interlaken." They knew my exact name and booking dates. When I asked management how this happened, they completely denied responsibility. This is a severe data breach and safety hazard.
The physical state of the property was shocking.
The bathroom drain was blocked, the floors were water-damaged and rotted, and the towels were worn out. Furthermore, a cat was wandering around the breakfast buffet, begging for food.
Management charges premium prices but has zero respect for hygiene or privacy. Your data and money are not safe here. Avoid at all costs.
