Uncle Kolya

We were a bit hesitant because the place was new to booking and didn't have many reviews but the place was great. The host was incredibly nice and tried to help us as much as he could even though his English isn't great. He made us a nice breakfast every morning with fruits and different types of Uzbeki snacks and bread. The room was comfortable and clean and it had the best shower we've had so far in Uzbekistan (enough water pressure!!).
The location is great as well, you're close to the Bukhara main sights and restaurants but it's still in a quiet area.
And it has a little table and bench outside which was really nice for a bit of rest or a beer in the afternoon when it was too hot to walk around. Can definitely recommend Uncle Kolya!

Good sized rooms, very clean, very tasty breakfast

The included breakfast was amazing (samsa, fresh fruits, tea, …). The staff was very helpful and nice. The location is perfect. We have AC in the room. We can also do laundry there.

Owner was very kind and helpful. On our last day we were leaving early before the breakfast time, but still he packed us food without even we asking for it. Room was very comfortable in a nice location close to the old city. Definitely will stay here again

Dyadya Kolya is very friendly.
Location is walkable at night, but when the temperature is high, it can be a challenge.

Uncle Kolya was very helpful, the restaurants he recommended were cheap and excellent. Breakfast was very good, fruits etc. And very clean room.

Uncle Koyla was very friendly and made us feel at home! Private rooms were great value for money.

The hotel is in a convenient location, very close to all of Bukhara’s main attractions.Spacious room, comfortably accommodating three people.Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Uncle Kolya is an incredibly jovial and friendly host. The hotel is clean and located close to the main sights of Buchara. In the morning, we got an extensive breakfast including pancakes with cottage cheese, dumplings and fresh fruit from the market across the street. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was great. Walkable distance to all attractions. Breakfast spread was amazing. Very compact but safe and secure budget friendly guest house. Uncle Kolya and the support staff were great. Language barrier but managed via google translate

Good location, everything is walkable. The room is very clean and comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, with a reading lamp and socket by the bed etc. the shower is powerful with tons of hot water, the AC works well and the WiFi is good (excellent for Uzbekistan). What makes this place special is Uncle Kolya, he genuinely cares for his guests comfort. This is the only hotel in central Asia where I have been asked about dietary requirements for breakfast. I stayed 8 nights and every morning I was provided with a different vegetarian breakfast and always more than any human could possibly eat. Uncle Kolya loves to feed all his guests. He can communicate effectively with a few words of English and Google translate.
