Very small room and small beds for a family, no equipment, no TV
Very helpful staff. Arranged transport to Tulum.
Buses difficult to connect
Nice room. Good air conditioning
no water pressure in bathroom sink. No blankets.
Good location
Dirty, nobody at the recepción desk, lizard, giant moth, sheets that were smaller than the bed. Dirty again. Nobody else but us. Construction work next door early in the morning. Did I say dirty already? Moldy coffee remains…
These are the pictures of hotel down the street. This hotel isn't open.
Misleading on the hotel, staff didn't speak English and difficult to understand through translater.
clean , good restaurant, nice swimming pool. we were the only clients...
a bit noisy during night (roasters were singing..that,s life), don't know if Hotel Sacbe still exists because we were transfer to the Hotel Maya a few hundred meters ahead and it seems to be the same hotel (not much explication were given).

Like Mexico was 30 years ago. A gem hidden in an unlikely place, above a tienda that said "Mexican Wal-mart." Overlooking a small backyard/orchard with limes, ciruelas, mamey, bananas, limes, bitter oranges, chickens, many song birds. A delightful, small open air palapa restaurant on that second floor that was closed for the evening, where the family graciously, even encouragingly permitted all 10 of us to eat our dinner and hang out and have our beers. The tienda was very well stocked with fresh tortillas and baked goods, fruits and veggies, including large pineapples in season, a small pharmaceutical cabinet and household goods.
Very, very friendly family run business. Seek out places like this if you want to truly experience Mexico, and get away from the congested tourist traps.
No reflection on the business, but there is no ATM in Cobà.
The hotel was in the middle of town and close to the ruins. There was a nice store below that had all kinds of food and drink options. The room was simple, but pleasant looking.
They had a restaurant but could not offer most food and drink items on the menu. It seemed like there was only one person working there. You must climb a full flight of stairs with your luggage to get to your room. No help offered. The bedroom had bugs all over, including the toilet, on the floor, and in the bed. The neighbors' cats had a huge fight in the middle of the night and the roosters crowed numerous times throughout the night. We checked out after one night and stayed at another location.
Very close to arquelogical place Coba
Neutral Smell of bed and room. Internet a bit weak but works mostly fine. Moskito Nets at the windows had no holes but were sometimes not neatly attached to the frame. This can be fixed with some tape however. Bathroom seemed renovated. No breakfast available but there is a store right under the hotel that sells fresh fruit, and the hotel provided bowls and cutlery, so we had fresh guacamole every morning.
Bit dirty behind de mosquito nets. AC air smells like wet soil and should probably be cleaned, but at least. worked.
