Very disappointed with the way the hotel dealt with our complaint will not be back.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The Hotel phoned me half an hour before we arrived to say they did not have a room available anymore the excuse they made was that our room had no electricity.I arrived at the hotel to make a complaint, as I booked the room months before checked in online the day before payed for the accommodation in advance and to add salt to the wound I stood in the queue at reception and watched four couples check in without a problem I can only assume they had booked direct and not through Booking.Com… very poor show.

Needs to employ more staff, but very nice stay, will return.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, very nice fresh decor, nice pleasant location and staff. Great food and drink at reasonable prices.

The live music venue, Backstage at the Green, was excellent. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, very comfy seats!!!

Cons:

Severely short staffed , only 1 chef on, 1 person serving dining tables, which resulted in slow service . However, the food was very nice when it arrived. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. There were no towels left in the room, so had to source them at midnight. Also no teaspoons or biscuits to accompany tea making facilities. All in all, a very pleasant stay and will definitely return. The live music venue, Backstage at the Green, was excellent. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, very comfy seats!!!

Good hotel, good price, pity about reception staff letting it down.
Pros:

Great situation and price

Cons:

Reception Staff need instruction in how to speak to checking in guests. Motor mouth! Needs to slow down and not give impression of wanting to get rid of you asap. Completed on line checkin details as hotels request night b4. Still had to complete check in forms on arrival. What a waste of time! And as for express checkout? Prepaid but made wait till reception had checked everything was ok! That's a pi55 take!

Great for gigs!
Pros:

Went for a gig ( Backstage at the Green) which was excellent. Great seeing a top artist ( AFL) then a short walk back to your room ( via the bar admittedly)

Cons:

Some of the common areas are a bit tired, but the rooms are currently being refurbed, ours was lovely, and I appreciate it can't all be done at once.
