Le personnel est adorable et toujours aux petits soins, L’emplacement était parfait au calme face aux rizières et le rocher du lion, l’hôtel a peu de chambres donc très calme

We had an unbelievable experience. The scenery was serene, the property was remote to the villages. The view was majestic. We relaxed so much in just 2 days and regret not staying longer.

The pool was well maintained and we enjoyed our time there, they also offered towels. There were some cows eating around(they had a rope holding them)

The room was super spacious, clean, nice bed and the bathroom was luxury. The balcony was really nice in views, can see the sigiriya rock!

The staff were attentive, super helpful and discreet. Also super responsive to any messages or ad hoc requests.

The breakfast was probably the best I ever had in any hotel, you must try their Sri Lankan omelette, but also the fruits were fresh and we had a variety of local treats served to you(no buffet and I think that was good)

I hoped I do not forget anything, but we had a fantastic time and would recommend 10/10. It’s a higher price than average in Sri Lanka, but the value of money was simply unmatched to any other.

The property has a wonderful view over the rice paddy. The rooms were nicely appointed and very comfortable, great hot showers and nice linens. The breakfast was outstanding with each day different yummy choices. The staff are extremely helpful and the kids loved the pool. It has a separate pool for smaller children which worked great with my youngest great granddaughter. We had dinner there twice and the food was very tasty and we did not have to wait forever either. So overall I would rate this hotel as a definitely come back to place.

We had a lovely stay. The property is very clean and clearly well taken care of, and the location is calm and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Breakfast was also very nice and a great way to start the day. The only small downside is that the property is a bit remote from the town, but it’s easy to get there with a quick tuk-tuk ride. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful two-night stay and felt at home from the very beginning. The atmosphere is warm and family-like, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.

The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature and peaceful rice fields. The views from the rooms and especially from the pool over the green landscape were absolutely stunning.

It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the calm surroundings while still being close to Sigiriya. Everything was well cared for, and the personal hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in nature.

Honestly, this place was even better than the pictures — and that says a lot. The views of Pidurangala and Lion Rock are absolutely insane. Waking up to that landscape, in total peace and quiet, felt surreal.

The location is so calm and secluded, which made the whole stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious, with a big, super comfortable bed that I genuinely struggled to leave in the mornings.

But what truly made the experience special was the staff. They were absolutely lovely and so attentive, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. They made me feel genuinely cared for and welcomed, not just like another guest. A special thank you to Dulanja, who was particularly kind — he brought me a first aid kit when I had an injury and was always responsive on WhatsApp whenever I needed anything. That level of care really stood out.

Breakfast was great, and they even packed one for me on the day I had an early safari, which I really appreciated.

Room was fabulous, spacious & clean, good view of the 2 Rocks. The area was nice and serene. Staff were lovely and breakfast & meals were fresh and delicious.

Heerlijk verblijf en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Service was perfect en Dula heeft echt ons verblijf gemaakt. Hij was altijd goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam en ook nog eens leuk! We gaan dit verblijf missen!

Bardzo ładny hotel i bardzo dobre jedzenie, czysty basen z widokiem na obie skały, a w około lataja przepiękne kolorowe ptaki.

We loved this property. A favourite of the entire trip. Peaceful nature, unending views over the rice paddies to Lion and Elephant Rock. Under Ashanka as the new manager since the end of December the property is blooming and Roshan as the chef harvesting fruits grown right in the garden the food is FANTASTIC. This is a gem. The rooms are large, the showers incredible and gorgeous bathtubs giving Marrakech vibes. We spent almost an entire day in the super clean infinity pool gazing over the green rice fields and as birders with the Merlin app we found so many bird species. The tree out front hosts a gorgeous male peacock on his roost each evening and the sun rises right over Lion Rock if you are up early. Don’t skip the Sri Lankan breakfast and rice and curry dinners here. Absolutely top drawer.

Najbardziej podobała mi się otaczająca to miejsce natura, obsługa która była bardzo miła i pomocna a także jedzenie w restauracji. Pokoje bardzo czyste i przestronne a łóżko bardzo wygodne.

As you can see from all the recent reviews this hotel is very good.
The new owner staff, chef go above and beyond to make your stay here the best it can be.
The rooms are excellent.
The property is going to be renamed soon.
