Ceylon Breeze Sigiriya

The pool and view from the property to the rice fields and Sigirya rock in the distance. Staff were helpful with our transport requirements. Filtered water was provided rather than plastic bottles which is good for the environment

Bardzo ładny hotel i bardzo dobre jedzenie, czysty basen z widokiem na obie skały, a w około lataja przepiękne kolorowe ptaki.
Z powodu dużej wilgotności w okolicy, w pokoju czuć wilgoć, ale takie to są uroki tej okolicy

We loved this property. A favourite of the entire trip. Peaceful nature, unending views over the rice paddies to Lion and Elephant Rock. Under Ashanka as the new manager since the end of December the property is blooming and Roshan as the chef harvesting fruits grown right in the garden the food is FANTASTIC. This is a gem. The rooms are large, the showers incredible and gorgeous bathtubs giving Marrakech vibes. We spent almost an entire day in the super clean infinity pool gazing over the green rice fields and as birders with the Merlin app we found so many bird species. The tree out front hosts a gorgeous male peacock on his roost each evening and the sun rises right over Lion Rock if you are up early. Don’t skip the Sri Lankan breakfast and rice and curry dinners here. Absolutely top drawer.

Najbardziej podobała mi się otaczająca to miejsce natura, obsługa która była bardzo miła i pomocna a także jedzenie w restauracji. Pokoje bardzo czyste i przestronne a łóżko bardzo wygodne.

As you can see from all the recent reviews this hotel is very good.
The new owner staff, chef go above and beyond to make your stay here the best it can be.
The rooms are excellent.

It was an amazing peaceful location .Visinity to popular attractions was best as it cut down travel time. First day they treated us with wonderful Srilanka lunch with an elaborate spread. They ensured we were comfortable and could get best options. Would love to recommend and visit again

Le Ceylon Breeze est niché au milieu de la nature. L’endroit est absolument magnifique et paisible. La piscine à débordement offre une vue panoramique sur les rizières ainsi que les fameux Lion Rock et Pidurangala Rock ! Vous saurez rapidement vous laisser porter par le bruit des oiseaux et des paons.
L’ensemble du personnel est une gentillesse infinie, Asila en charge du service tout particulièrement. Il est extrêmement attentionné, souriant et disponible pour ses clients. Nous le remercions de tout cœur car il a rendu notre séjour encore plus exceptionnel !
Nous avons opté pour la demi pension (petit dej et dîner). Tout était excellent, fait minute avec des produits frais et une carte variée qui convient aux vegans.
Pour finir, le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel. Nous avons eu une très belle surprise à ce propos. Lorsque vous arrivez à la piscine, une personne vient vous apporter tout de suite des serviettes. Au moment du repas, Asila tire la chaise pour que je m’installe. À la fin du dîner, une personne vous accompagne jusqu’à votre chambre avec une lampe torche pour vous éclairer le chemin ! Je n’ai jamais vu ça c’est formidable ! Et cette même personne est là aussi tôt le matin (5:00 am) vous accompagne également jusqu’à votre taxi.
En somme, je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel :)

Ceylon Breeze is very beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous views across the rice fields to both Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock. The rooms are spacious and lovely. The infinity pool is a good size and I was able to do laps. What made our stay so special was the fabulous staff, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so attentive and helpful. Dilmah at reception was so kind and helpful, Asela our waiter always smiled and remembered how I like my tea, Dilum looked after our rooms and was always there when needed, the chef Roshan cooked wonderful meals, the owner/manager Sanjeewe went out of his way to find me some swimming goggles and he has chosen his staff extremely well. We highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

Vakkert sted ca 15-20min unna byen.
Stort rom med flott utsikt over lion rock og pidurangala, samt fint innredet. Personalet var vennlige.
Bassengområdet var behagelig å slappe av ved. Maten på stedet stod også over forventning.
Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

La vue est tout simplement splendide. La piscine est chaude et super jolie. La chambre est immense ainsi que la salle de bain, la literie et les oreillers sont juste au top.
Les personnes sur place sont aux petits soins, c’était parfait

Amazing views, extremely peaceful and overall just an amazing stay. Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, the staff went above a beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed.

Ein wunderschönes, kleines Boutique-Hotel mit unglaublichem Charme. Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten von Reisfeldern und vermittelt das Gefühl, ein Teil der Natur zu sein. Auf dem schönen Balkon kann man entspannen und die wilden Pfauen beobachten, während der ikonische Lions Rock im Hintergrund die Szenerie perfekt abrundet. Der Service ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Frühstück und Abendessen sind angenehm einfach und unkompliziert – kein überladenes Buffet, sondern das, was die Küche gerade zu bieten hat.

Einzig die WLAN-Verbindung könnte verbessert werden. Andererseits tut eine digitale Auszeit manchmal einfach gut. 😅

Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel ein kleines Juwel abseits der Touristenpfade, und wir sind so froh, es entdeckt zu haben. 😊
