Une nuit au bord de mer

Localisation à 50 m de la plage; l'avant plan non aménagé gache cependant un peu la vue

Cons:

Accueil excécrable, pas un sourire ni à l'accueil ni pendant les repas. A la limite de la grossièreté. Carte du restaurant bien fournie mais à l'expérience la moitié des plats ne sont pas disponibles. Petit déjeuner inclus mais très rudimentaire. Chambre spartiate, pas même de table de nuit. On avait payé 2 nuits et on est parti après une seule.

For the price it was a good value.
Pros:

It was a good location. Everything was very spacious, the room was large, the restaurant & outdoor patio were large given that there weren't very many guests. They had water for sale. The proximity to the beach was very nice. The mosquito net was good the room was larger than I expected. I came during very low season and there weren't very many people here which was nice. There was a bit of noise on the first night it seemed like they were doing some construction as they are building a Second Story just over my room. I stayed three nights as planned. I would stay again but would prefer trying somewhere else. The price is good

Cons:

No one ever came to clean my room or emptied the trashcan. The staff seemed a bit apathetic and slow, they didn't smile or seem to take an interest in greeting me or serving breakfast for example. They served an OK breakfast of plain omelette but they had no butter for the bread as an example of the apathy. Interestingly the bed had a bottom sheet but not a top sheet. And there was a blanket that I didn't touch as I didn't need it it was pretty warm though the air-conditioning worked really well.

Relaxing place to stay on the beach
Pros:

Nice hotel with views of the sea. Nice staff, clean rooms and nice ocean views from some of the rooms. There’s both a fan and AC and mosquito nets.
There’s a small market (snacks, beer, deli and small selection of basic needs), a bakery next to it, and a fruit market beyond that which are all about a 5-10 min walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars right on the beach and on the main road if you want to venture out.
Their food is excellent on the hotel restaurant as well. They have live entertainment some nights as well.
The ocean is great for swimming. Very clean when I was there in March 2025.

Cons:

The French style breakfasts 🙃 but they do offer omelettes on request.

Nice area by the sea
Pros:

AC works well, unfortunately there are electricity blackouts during night.
Good mosquito net around bed.
Warm water.
Nice garden and shared area on terrace where wifi works best (it can't reach rooms)
Beautiful beach is near.

Cons:

Breakfast is too small for two people (one omelet and one baguette), but they have great coffee.

Tranquil place by the beach
Pros:

The garden area is beautiful and right by the beach with a great view. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast and bar.

Cons:

The room was a bit sparsely furnished - there was a table and two double beds although one would have been enough, but no chairs or closet to hang clothes. There were also no plugs by the bed to charge phones or connect a fan. These are only minor complaints though.
