Ease of access from the highway with clear directions, great views of Lake Elementaita, friendly staff and comfortable and spacious rooms.
WiFi was spotty and the recreational facilities (darts and table football) were broken.

Property is beautiful
The property is beautiful but badly maintained.
We arrived around 1:00 PM, but our room was only allocated at 3:00 PM. The pool was cold, unclean, and had visible algae. When I asked why the temperature wasn’t maintained, I was told that since there were fewer guests that day, they hadn’t turned on the heating. No one informed us about this in advance. My children went into the pool and started shivering from the cold.
We requested a hot shower, and the lady at reception kindly provided a room, but even there, the water was cold. The General Manager and Operations Manager did try to help, but resolution took far too long.As soon as we checked in and ordered food, we reported that the internet wasn’t working. Since we are not local and had no mobile data, my children wanted to watch YouTube. The receptionist promised to send IT immediately. Despite knowing we were already facing check-in issues, there was no urgency. No one came. I followed up at the reception again, and she promised once more—but still, no one arrived. We eventually went to the lawn to access a weak signal.At around 7:00 PM, I called again, and the IT technician finally arrived at 7:30 PM. He was polite and made an effort, but the signal was too weak to resolve the issue. I asked to meet the Duty Manager. He said someone would come, but later informed me that the Duty Manager (also the F&B Manager) was busy with dinner service for other guests. No one came until 9:15 PM.
By then, I explained everything. The internet speed was consistently below 1–4 Mbps. Exhausted and seeing no solution, my children and I decided to sleep. The Duty Manager promised that he or a senior staff member would meet us in the morning during checkout. Despite knowing our checkout time, no one showed up. Only a junior receptionist informed us that management had decided to waive $30 from the food bill. I said nothing and left. Because of the late check-in and the cold pool, we couldn’t visit Soysambu
The general ambiance was excellent, wonderful staff and quite good meals, it's a value for money facility
