We needed a location close to The Co Op Live so it was within walking distance
Weed being smoked in the property, guests at property in Morgan's living space, saying they have no idea who he is. Acting shifty. Made us feel very uneasy.
It was amazing was made very welcome
Nothing
The good thing about the property is it is in fairly close proximity to the Etihad stadium (approx 1 mile) The price is reasonable but you get what you pay for.
The bed was rock hard and the mattress didn’t appear to fit the bed so if you got close to the edge you felt like you were going to roll off. We really didn’t get a good nights sleep at all.
Also having to pay an extra £5 for parking on the driveway was a surprise. I didn’t see this mentioned on the listing.
Easy to find , close to venue, owner polite and helpful.
It wasn't a deluxe double room with full facilities, it was a converted conservatory, it wasn't private as had to go into lounge kitchen area to wash hands and make a drink. Two beds in lounge which weren't in use. It didnt have a proper shower it was over toilet like in a motorhome. Front door unlocked all night we locked ourselves in our room to sleep. The beds were comfy and clean but camp beds.
No proper light, the bulb in lamp was extremely dim had to use our torch on mobiles to see.
I have taken photos has it's hard to imagine what it was like by my description. I feel it was not fully safe in case of fire, lots of extension cables all over. Altogether unacceptable accomodation, we just made do for the night and had to laugh about it.
Check in was easy, and there were clean towels and 2 x 350ml bottles of tap water. Nothing stood out as dirty.
You can't reasonably call the room we booked a "Deluxe Double Room with Shower." If I'm going to be sleeping in a conservatory I'd like to know beforehand, especially if you're going to call the room Deluxe. The air was as musky as you'd expect and I ended up driving back home in the early hours of the morning instead. Additionally, it would have to be urgent for you to use the advertised showsr, it's literally hanging over the toilet.
Nothing
The Service was Dire
Communication was actually non-existent
Didn't give us a code to our access to our room before check-in!
The door was locked, but there was a key already in the front door.
We waited for two hours after arriving for check-in, including sitting in the rain waiting before eventually moving to another accommodation elsewhere. The worst part is that he rang us about access to our rooms at the worst time as me and my friend were at the place we needed to be so we couldn't take the call. If your considering going to this property! word of advice Stay away, save your money and look for somewhere better then this place! I want my money back.
Good location
Was a really small room and not worth the money
The host was really lovely, good guy, yeah it is a bit deeper from the center, honestly - some of the upscale hostels provide much worse experience....towels, kitchen, everything is there
I walked there for about an hour 30 min, but there is a tram not so far away, took that back to Piccadilly Station
Nothing
Everything, says delux room and wasn’t.. it’s false advertising
Easy to get to the venue
Too easy access for strangers
Easy to check in and out. Bed was comfy. Outside table was great
The room I was in was odd. A leanto/conservatory attached to the kitchen’s patio doors. The oddest thing was the curtains are on the kitchen side of the patio doors - which means anyone can open the curtain and look straight into your room! It made it hard to relax. The bathroom is also strange - its pretty much all one room and the shower flows across the room - not ideal with daisy-chained extensions on the floor.
The whole room is a bit barmy. But it was inexpensive and located where I needed to be in Manchester.
I’d stay again - but I’ll pack my own blinds for the door!
Great location, perfect for Co-op Live. Really friendly.
The room was cozy and clean.
There were clean towels and bedding, plenty water. For the, how was staff, question, i only put the 2nd one because i didnt meet the staff.
There were only a few things i would mention to improve,
When taking a shower, the water went all over the room near the extentions and under the bed, so maybe adding a lip to the floor infront of the shower/toilet area would stop the water getting everywere.
The sliding door to the kitchen could both lock and unlock from both sides, and there wasnt a key to lock it while i was in the room, this made me feel quite uneasy as anyone could have easy access to my stuff while gone out / the room while i was sleeping.
Lastly. The curtains wouldnt fully close in the corners, so i could see through them from the outside and had full view of toilet, and it made me feel uneasy getting changed... maybe a curved curtain rail would solve that.
The accommodation was very good and the owner was very friendly and supportive.Had a nice days here.
