Excellent VFM, very polite staff, clever design
No air conditions in the dormitories, just fans.
Big dormitory to sleep
Breakfast is missing and toilet doest not have exhaust. it is little uncomfortable.
everything realy nice.can highly recommend 🙂
Friendly and helpful staff in a good location. Reasonably priced laundry service.
No AC and rooms were hotter than the corridor or outdoors. Fan alone was not enough. Also poor ventilation throughout especially bad for bathroom which is shared. So it remains humid and stinky with poor to no cleaning occurring in the day. Only one bathroom per room making it hard when one is occupied.
Hot water. Clean, towels and soaps provided, great location, great staff
A little tight not much storage space, no air conditioning and not much people, the personal area is a kind of a little cube
position is great. a lot of things in the surroundings. staff is gentle.
The room was big enough and quite clean.
The guesthouse is tucked away in a small alley, so it's quiet.
It's a short walk from the centre and the market (and pub street for those interested).
Some people complain about wetting everything while showering, well, it's easy, just get your toilet paper out before showering, how hard can it be? I didn't mind the shower, it's quite standard in Asia (not only SEA, in South Korea as well).
The staff is kind, but pretty absent and they don't offer any tours or transport bookings. I went to the nearby hostel for all of my tours and onwards transport bookings.
I had a room with no windows (no glass) but only wood shutters..... so I couldn't have natural light easily.
My room was also on a corner with the balcony, and since one of my fake windows gave out to the balcony, I could smell the cigarette of people smoking there, very disagreeable.
They don't even come to empty the trash, and I stayed 5 nights!
The bed was quite hard, even for me.
The cozy and cost effectiveness for a basic need
Arterial road was uncomfortable
Really good central location in a quiet side street but only a few minutes walk to good restaurants and about a 5-10 min walk to pub street if you're looking for bars/restaurants and nightlife. Room was clean and large. Were able to do laundry for a small fee which was done within 24 hours.
Shower is in the middle of the bathroom with the sink one side and toilet the other meaning when you have a shower the whole room gets wet, including anything on the shelf by the sink and the toilet paper. We were used to this but can be annoying when everything gets wet.
