Nice location very quiet but lovely and picturesque
Needed a little maintenance in the bathroom new taps and shower head
Good breakfast. Host's lovely. A well stocked bar too for a total relax... The location was great near to the beach one way the other way 5 min stroll and there is everything shop wise and dining out. On the beach front there are lovely eateries too.
Having a easy chair to relax in on a rainy day or a tiring evening would add extra cosyness.. To Curl up and read about Lovely andCorfu
Pool, Balcony with natural shade from trees and the Sea, which is close to the apartment
- The smell of mold in the kitchen area. as well as mold on the walls, doors, etc., which were somehow painted over before the season (room and balcony).
- The hood in the kitchen did not work.
- Refrigerator - rusty refrigerator door
- Chipped dishes, used kitchen napkin and dish sponge with an unpleasant smell
- Blood stains on the walls after killing mosquitoes
- Chandeliers with the appearance of wires and ceiling mounts
- Bathroom: a hole in the wall instead of ventilation, protruding wires, broken shower head
- Clothes dryer - constantly falls because it is not designed for such a balcony
AND THE MOST UNPREDICTABLE THING IN MY LONG HISTORY OF A TOURIST:
Air conditioning.
When checking in, we found out that the room has air conditioning, but to get a remote control for the air conditioning you need to pay 8 euros per day. In my booking confirmation, it is stated in the Facilities section: "Air conditioners work within one room." There are no restrictions on air conditioning in the Important Information or Additional Information sections.
I think that charging for air conditioning as an additional service in Greece, in the peak season is not user-friendly and looks like a reduction in the cost of housing through the tricks of the owner. I paid for this service and received confirmation of payment (post-terminal check), but when I asked to write me a receipt for the additional service of air conditioning, I was refused by the owner.
TOTAL: I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone
Exceptional breakfast, but only on request. Nice and helpful staff. Good location.
Poor or no WiFi. Air Conditioning was with additional payment and was no information about it while booking. Water from tap was missing two times.
Loved the location and the setting, while the food was excellent and we received a wonderful welcome !
The pool is great and offers some shade. The walkt to the beach and supermarket and other restaurants is 5 mins.
Agneta is a wonderful, kind host who treated us like family and our room was lovely.
Nothing
Everyone was so friendly and the pool was lovely. Good location as well
The quality of the showers was the only downside, other than that it's a gorgeous little place!
A lovely welcome.
Beautifully hot water.
Clean and tidy pool area.
Sunbeds were a little bit uncomfortable to sit on.
Bathroom equipment needs attention.
Very friendly host Annette made the stay great couldn’t have been nicer
The location of the apartments is great for the beach or the town just a 10min walk in either direction, the road you walk down is used a lot by vehicles to reach the seafront, it is well lit at night so safe to walk back after enjoying a nice meal at The Navigator restaurant or Barden Restaurant and bar by the sea. Villa Valia itself consists of several apartments in 2 buildings. The apartment we had was very basic with a small kitchen area, no cooking facilites but there was the all important kettle! The apartment was on the ground floor, there was a balcony albeit small there was an airer and washing line. The beds are basic and not comfy at all if you have achey bones. But thankfully quilts were provided which we used to pad out the mattresses. The swimming pool is nice and surounded by sunbeds. The bar was nice and the lady who runs Villa Valia is lovely, extremely helpful and enthusiatic about her business and her guests. Eager to please and for you to enjoy yourself.
Over all Villa Valia just needs a bit of TLC. But if you want a traditional Greek relaxing and chilled out place to stay then choose Villa Valia.
Location. The establishment is in a quiet street far away from the noise but close enough if you want to take a walk there to party.
Stroll to the beaches, town and restaurants and if you're Lucky, the dog will accompany you. 😅
The hostess is super friendly, makes a cracking Greek breakfast and have all information you need on Greece and Corfu island. Free spirited and helpful.
Pool and bar seems nice though we didnt use it. We preferred the beach and beach bars.
Room8 gave us nice access to the garden for a nice wake up Coffee, star gazing.
Everything was as in the pictures. Not luxury but good for people just interested in having fun.
I only had one breakfast there and it was reasonable.
Location was good being reasonably near to the beach and supermarkets.
There was no wifi whatsoever in my room and I had to constantly go to the pool / bar area to use wifi there which was extremely inconvenient for me and I had even missed quite a few important messages at midnight due to not having access to wifi whatsoever in my room.
We didn't have breakfast we were accommodation only, but I cannot tell you how lovely this place is, the location is excellent being only 5 minutes' walk to the beach and an excellent restaurant (The Navigator) which overlooks the sea. Villa Valia has a lovely pool (which my granddaughter loved) with sun loungers and umbrellas and a bar for refreshments throughout most of the day, it is a quiet, peaceful place and even when there are a few kids in the pool having fun it still has a sense of calm. I went with my daughter and granddaughter, and we will definitely be returning. The owner, Aneta, is the loveliest lady host who cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble for her which makes your stay so much nicer, we cannot thank her enough for her hospitality.
I cannot think of anything we didn't like about Villa Valia, as far as we are concerned it is lovely and will give it 9.5 out of 10. Nothing more to add as we liked it
Nice room close to the sea and very kind owner. Pool area was lovely.
Maybe its a Greek thing not to provide wash-up liquids and has a poorly equipped kitchen? No any cooking possibility (no micro or cooking plate) in the room.

the pool was wonderful, the staff were very friendly
the bar closed a lot throughout the day but it saves money in the long run!
The location close to the sea.
In 6 days they didn't clean our room at all. They didn't change the towels. No soap or shower gel. The air conditioning was not free. We had to pay 5 euros per day for it. No toilet paper. The host was not at all friendly. Although it said free parking, she called us to move the car.
