Wenn wir in Bangkok sind, buchen wir IMMER das Akara. Jedesmal ein Genuss.
Top Lage, Rooftopbar, Pool, tolle Zimmer, top Service, leckeres und vielseitiges Frühstück, vom Empfang bis zum Checkout super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal ( mr. Wanchai 🙏👍im speziellen sehr hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und aufgestellt).

It was very handy to get to from the airport rail stop

Cons:

It was smaller than it appeared online. There was work being done on the building so the corridor on our floor was very hot. The electrics were over complicated. And the key port for the electrics flashed all night

The place where will never come back again

15 years l am visiting Bangkok and stayed at different 5 and 4 stars hotels, but this is the first time to see such a unrespectful and aggressive front manager lady called Rin - since we entered the hotel after a long day trip the manager behaved like she is the owner of the hotel dominating at the reception without allowing the other staff to do their jobs properly and telling us the laws for foreigners in Thailand - no welcome phrases, no any information about the hotel facilities, wifi usage and welcome drinks(upon our departure we have seen that they do that for other customers).
Before check out we were called twice at the room with the warning that the check out time is at 12:00 am and when we're on the lobby has seen the same lady manager on a duty with a that negative attitude...

Contrary of the front desk the bell boy staff (K. WASACHAI) was very helpful and we got all information about the hotel facilities (pool, rooftop bar, etc).

Schönen Badezimmer aber die Ausblick war nicht schön.
Keine Balkon
Das Hotel liegt außerhalb und wir müssen immer mit Taxi oder Tuk Tuk fahren und was zu sehen.
Rooftop schwimmen Pool ist viel zu klein mit 5 oder 6 liegen das immer besetzt war

Pros:

We booked this hotel for the breakfast and location (walking distance to the train to the airport). It was an exceptional experience. The hotel staff let us store our bags after we checked out, so we could explore the city. They also invited us to shower and use the pool after exploring the city before heading to the airport (we had a late night flight). The breakfast was incredible- so many delicious choices! The pool looks over the city from the 16th floow and we just lounged, swam and took in the incredible city views. Highly recommend this hotel, we were so happy with our stay and the staff who went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable!
