Quirky fun apartment with all we needed, in perfect location for travel into Van, at great value.
Pros:

Spacious living room and bedroom; so close to the train station which is very handy - direct line (Expo line) into downtown/waterfront Vancouver. Plus supermarket, shops, eateries. Everything supplied in the kitchen; comfy sofa bed; location near the River markets and restaurants/pubs of New Westminster. New West is very cool. Also we loved the old apartment and building itself; it stands out from the usual boring hotels! Old furniture and decor and the fantastic 1910 lift/elevator. Great value for money; overall very, very pleased we stayed there and would stay again.

Cons:

We knew in advance of the so-called downsides, so we were expecting/prepared and still happy to book, and were happy with our experience. So people know in advance - the trainline is next to the apartments so if you have trouble sleeping through that, don't book! Ceiling fans no aircon. Laundry is in the basement. There are some drug addicts in the area but they were never any bother; and New West is not the only area of Vancouver with people on the streets. New West as a whole is a very lively, cool place to be. :)

Hatalmas lakosztályok központi helyen, de zajos környezetben.
Pros:

Nagyon közel a vízpart, a vasútállomás és a boltok, éttermek. A lakosztály jól felszerelt és elég nagy, több helyiséges.

Cons:

Egy felújítás már ráférne különösen a légkondicionálás, az árnyékolók és a nyílászárók esetében. Nagyon zajos a mellette futó vonat miatt és a régi ablakok nem hangszigetelnek.

I loved this place! And an authentic heritage hotel. It brings you back to 1920. The owner was so warm and welcoming. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'll definitely stay here again!

Pros:

체크인 할 때 나이가 많은 직원분이 열심히 설명해주시고(특히 엘레베이터 사용에 관해) 친절하게 응대해 주셨습니다.
고풍스러운 거실, 장식 등이 마음에 들었습니다.
넓은 거실과 침실 모두 훌륭했습니다.

Cons:

바닥이 나무이고 오래돼서 걸을 때 삐걱거려서 아랫층이 너무 신경 쓰였습니다.
바로 옆 창문 높이로 전철이 지나서 소음이 아주 심했습니다.
선풍기만 껴도 차단기가 내려가서 몇번이나 차단기를 올렸습니다.
