Great historic building great for tourists or a staycation.
It was nice to have a portable ac in the room but you just have to turn off everything else otherwise the appliances will short circuit. They even gave us complementary wine and there's free parking and laundry onsite
The neighborhood was sketchy. There were people overdosing or taking drugs in the street but there's nothing they can do about that
Fantastic time travel. It felt more like sleeping in a museum.
That I only had 2 nights to enjoy it.
The novelty, the proximity to SkyTrain and waterfront.
The lack of parking (we had to double-park on the street until finished check-in, then were directed to a private lot of first-come-first-serve parking, with only expensive public parkades nearby as alternatives), and the utter mess of check-in because there was a film crew taking up the entire ground floor.
I loved the old architecture and craftmanship of the old building. The woodwork in the apartment was amazing. Room was very clean.
Location was somewhat noisy as it is right next to the Skytrain tracks. This was also convenient because the station was right across the road. Location outside was a little undesirable with a few homeless wandering. around but they didn't bother us.
Absolutely unique, heritage hotel, you get to travel back in time. Myrna is an amazing host, God bless her and give her lots of health.
It wasn't clear how to get to the entrance from the parking lot.
A free bottle of red wine and the fully equipped kitchen.
Very noisy, SkyTrain close by.
헤리티지한 경험을 할 수 있다
화장실에서 찌린내가 너무 나고 주차장 옆에 노숙자가 많아서 차가 있다면 매우 위험하다. 몇 분마다 지하철이 다니는데 방음이 안된다
A piece of restored history
Beautiful heritage hotel! Loved the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and courteous. Location is very convenient. Limited onsite parking but also convenient if fortunate enough to get a spot.
Overall we would definitely stay again!!!
Too hot in the summer! A portable air conditioner in the bedroom which made Sleeping possible otherwise if you had to spend time in the room it would be unbearable.
felt a bit homey with books and VHS in the room, complimentary bottle of wine
quite loud from the sky train. Fuse in the room would blow if i had the AC and all the lights on. Quite smelly. VHS actually didnt work (was lacking the cords in the back). There was a broken piece of glass in the living room hutch that if i had kids there would be very nervous about. Said there was free parking on the listing but they actually dont have enough spots so i had to pay 20$ extra a day to go park at a lot.
Large, spacious apartment with vintage details and furniture. Felt like being in a different time period. The owner is delightful and has obviously put a lot of care into making the hotel unique. We loved the architectural details of the hallways and the interior of the apartment and we really appreciated having a full kitchen.
The noise from the sky train. The vintage furniture felt a little too worn out and even a little soiled. The bathroom sink and toilet need some repair. Check in is awkward due to the location of the parking lot.
