A warm welcome awaits you!
Pros:

Such a warm welcome in this homestay and the meals were delicious! Comfy beds and a very clean room. It was a half hour walk along the canal to the ancient city and we were thrilled to spot kingfishers and a wide variety of other birds along the way. The host was delightful.

Cons:

There was not hot water in the bathrooms. The rest is fine. The owner said that the most of guesthouses in Polonnaruwa don’t have a hot water.
