Pros:

Tout est neuf et comme dans le descriptif. C’est joliment décoré et aménagé. L’hôte est d’une gentillesse incroyable.

Cons:

Il n’y a rien que je n’ai pas aimé. Après la montée pour atteindre la « vieille ville » est rude mais ça n’enlève rien au charme de l’établissement.

Pros:

Location is perfect if you come by car and don’t want to drive up the narrow and very steep streets. Just a 15 minute walk to the town (uphill). Free parking space.
The apartment is modern, spacious and very clean. We especially loved the small kitchen and the washing machine in the bathroom (Evi provided detergent for us). Evi is very nice and always ready to help. :)

Cons:

Nothing to do with the apartment just needs to be mentioned: there is a cafe downstairs (we stayed on the first floor) and they were moving chairs a lot at 10 pm and then again 5 am. Made a lot of noise. Not great if you’re a light sleeper.

Pros:

The amazing hostess! My girlfriend got sick and when we notified the hostess, she came with theee different kinds of medicines, eggs, olive oil and oregano (Albanian recipe for if you feel ill). She asked if she was okay troughout the day and a day after that. Really kind and made the stay so much better.

Cons:

The only thing that bothered us was that the water couldn’t drain well in the shower, but when we notified the hostess, she cleaned it for us and told us that this is because the draining system is still under construction.

Pros:

Greatly renovated clean, spacious and wonderful apartment that had everything we needed, and beyond.

The hostess is wonderful, kind and helpfull. Just perfect.

The place is easy to reach by car, no narrow streets or anything. 5-10 minutes uphill walk to the old town / bazaar, the castle etc.

Cons:

Everything was great.

Corner view to old & new Gjirokaster
Pros:

We were welcomed warmly by the delightful Evi and assisted with parking. The small corner of the building flat was immaculate and very comfortable. A great spot for the buzz of down town and a quick walk to explore the Ottoman period architecture and the castle views. We learned lots about history and the present challenges.Great food and coffee everywhere. Evi and her Dad were lovely hosts. We highly recommend a few days in Gjirokaster at Jani apartments.
