Pros:

Our stay at Grand Hotel Kruja was truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-organized, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the location offered amazing views of the historic town. We would definitely come back again.😍

Ligging was goed voor een dagje Krujë.

Cons:

Ontbijt was het slechtste wat we gehad hebben in Albanië. Blauw ei, uitgedroogde komkommer, een kopje drab als koffie. Alleen het brood en de jam was redelijk. Er oud en vergaan hotel. Veel kamers werden permanent bewoond, met alle zooi en huiselijk lawaai erbij. Te duur voor vergelijkbare accommodaties in Albanië

Pros:

Booked because of reasonable reviews on booking.com and was surprised at how bad this hotel was and how appalling the facilities were. The room itself was acceptable with clean, comfortable bed and hot water. However, we booked this place because it said it had an electric kettle and tea making facilities (and a shared kitchen) - it had none of these. The staff didn’t appear to know what a kettle was (even in translation). The breakfast with very poor - similar to what you get everywhere else only less of it and clearly not fresh (see picture). The coffee was decent. There were noises all night (music that sounded like it was from a bar and moving furniture). The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but there was no sense of anyone managing the place and they didn’t seem to know what to do half the time. We were told we would be helped with printing our boarding passes but when it came to it the next morning no one was there and no one replied. The view is spectacular.

Superb
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff. Walking distance to the market and Kruja Castle, which is gorgeous. Beds were also comfortable enough. The room was simple, but good for the price. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

There were rainy and cold days, but windows and doors were opened everywhere in the hotel and it was quite cold and uncomfortable in the common places.

Pros:

Good value for money.
Friendly staff.
Car parking in front of the house.
Really close to the city center and castle.

Cons:

As the hotel is located on a hill, there is a nice view from one side, but we had a room on the other side in the basement, so we looked through the window into the wall. But it had the advantage that it blocked the noise coming from the main road which is in front of the hotel.

Pros:

The room was light and spacious, with an amazing view. Guys at the reception were polite and friendly. We could leave the luggage at the reception.
Breakfast was more than enough and fresh bread and coffee tasted great.

Cons:

The entrance from the back of the hotel. We had to climb the stairs which were covered with litter and it smelled terrible there.

Great place to stay!
Pros:

Conveniently located across the street from the bus stop. Breakfast was terrific! I arrived earlier than check-in and was able to leave my bag at the hotel's front desk. Wonderful balcony and view from my room. Great water pressure in the shower as well as having hot water, which is not common to have both in Albania. Staff was very helpful and responsive once I was able to connect with them. Comfortable mattress.

Cons:

Front desk was not staffed, so I needed to communicate via email through Booking.com

great location but building needs maintenance and more care
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal...walking distance to the castle and a very nice view.
the staff is also very friendly and willing to help.

Cons:

not only the room, but the whole building and interior is very old and urgently needs a renovation.
The cleaning in the stair case area and the breakfast room should be improved.
there was some noise like moving furniture from upstairs throughout the whole night
