Beautiful rooms. Relaxed and private.
Pros:

Location is walking distance from main street and shops. Love the detail to every room. Very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The security door by the pool was left unlocked and kept slamming throughout the night. At around 1:00 a.m., I had to go outside and wedge a chair against the door to stop it from banging because it was impossible to sleep.

Fun at The Belmont 🍸
Pros:

I love the wonderful gal that runs the house. She's bright and very helpful.
We appreciate the location too, so close to all the amenities.
The front garden is gorgeous and the pool area is perfect for afternoon cocktails.

Cons:

This is our 2nd time staying at The Belmont. We usually have the first bedroom to the left which suits us fine- for getting in and out fast.
Our only concern is the shower cubicle - it makes a mess everywhere and could be quite risky/hazardous.

Gem in the heart of Franschoek!
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic location in the heart of Franschoek - attended Bastille Day festival and we were basically at the festival. Most comfortable beds, large bedrooms and bathrooms - no noise as off main road so restful sleep. Friendly accommodating staff - even allowed late checkout so that my daughter could have a quick shower after her trail run.

Beautiful family apartment, perfect for a couple nights away.
Pros:

The room was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and accommodated our young family very well. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful pool and outdoor area fully. Checking in and out was seamless (we had a late check in). It is located just off the main road in Franschoek, close to the restaurants.

Cons:

I couldn't find cleaning materials (like a sponge and cloth) or oven mitts, however as it was only a 1 night stay this wasn't a major issue. Guests should be aware of the drinking water situation in Franschoek - best to confirm if it is drinkable.

Cons:

Lack of a shower which wasnt made clear. The bath was not the best to use, water everywhere trying to use the nozzle.
The heater wasnt the most efficient.

Wonderful property in a brilliant location.
Pros:

Loved the rooms - clean spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Handing the keys back at the end was not overly clear and once i handed the keys back i was stuck in the ground due to electric gates.

Superbe séjour dans une demeure au style français
Pros:

Très bel hôtel au style ancien. Les chambres sont très bien décorées et spacieuses. Très bien situé à Franschhoek, possibilité de visiter le centre-ville à pied. Quartier calme.
