Pros:

La suite familiale est un appartement décoré avec goût et très bien équipé. Idéal pour une famille avec un ou deux enfants. Il donne sur une piscine que nous n avons pas utilisé compte tenu de la saison mais en été c est un extérieur idéal avec un pool house très bien agencé et équipé. La proximité du centre ville est très appréciable.

Pros:

Very central, beautifully furnished, bed is comfortable with good linen.

Cons:

Since it’s an old house the rooms are not very soundproof so we unfortunately got woken up at 7am on a Sunday by other guests knocking on doors and talking in the passageway. The coffee machine was a bit tricky to work out and leaked when used. A private fridge would have been great in the room too.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer.
Super Lage für die Weinregion Franschhoek.
Flexible Zeiten sind auf Anfrage möglich.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Wine Tram.

Cons:

Leider keine Dusche im Zimmer und keine "richtige" Tür zur Toilette.

Pros:

We stayed at The Belmont in Franschhoek for two days during a Level 8 Storm. Despite the weather, our host CJ was a delightful and welcoming presence, complete with a gas heater to keep us cozy. Our Superior Suite was truly five-star, featuring secure parking, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom (my favourite Cape Island), and a lovely view of the swimming pool. We especially enjoyed the special touch of Ferroro Roche Chocolates and appreciated the convenience of being within walking distance to all the major restaurants - not that we walked in the storm! We will definitely return - perhaps even to use The Belmonts great braai facilities — because good food, glass of Merlot and great company are worth the stormy weather..

Pros:

Great location, very comfortable room and nicely decorated bathroom - modern while still in keeping with the traditional Franschhoek style.

Cons:

Would have been convenient to have breakfast offered, but it wasn't a problem since there are so many lovely breakfast spots in town.
