Can’t ask for more if you want to stay in the city center
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable and the room had all the amenities we needed.
Beds felt luxurious, bathroom was big modern and spotless, AC worked well too.
Location also perfect.
There is no receptionist per se but help of any kind is a WhatsApp message away.
It’s a small 3 room hotel located in the heart of the city walls. So you have to haul your luggage through the alleys to get there and then also up 2 flights of stairs.
But that’s the deal with any hotel in that awesome location

Die Lage, die moderne, sehr saubere Inneneinrichtung, die freundlichen Mitarbeiter

Cons:

Das Zimmer liegt im 2.Stock und hat keinen Aufzug, teilweise halfen Mitarbeiter mit dem Gepäck, das bei An- und Abreise ein Stück durch die Altstadtgassen gezogen oder getragen werden muß. Für alte oder behinderte Personen nicht geeignet

Terrific!
Pros:

Wonderful room right in the heart of Old Town. Very clean, large and nicely re-done/modern room. Friendly staff.

Cons:

It’s a very narrow and steep walk up - so be ready if you have a lot/heavy baggage!

5* quiet hotel rooms in the Diocletianus palace
Pros:

Its in the very center, you literally sleep in the palace, but as our window was looking at an inner yard it was surprisingly calm during the night and in the morning. We slept well.

The service is superb. They communicate with you through WhatsApp and are always avaible. They even meet you at the garage and walk you to the apartments. Btw: you have a seperate closed garage not just a parking space!

The room is a high quality material and furniture room, and its huge, equal to a 5* hotel room. Comfortable beds, extra pillows individual duvet (I hate the extra large 2in1 so I really appreciated this!)

Exceptional stay, high quality, would definitely stay there again
Pros:

Location was perfect; right near the center of old town Split, close to all major attractions, especially for a first time visitor to Split. Excellent communication from enthusiastic staff, and an easy check-in process. Super comfortable and large room. The photos were accurate. It was incredibly clean. It was actually cleaner and more comfortable than the 4-star hotel I'd stayed in just prior to my stay at Priuli. Great bathroom, water temperature and water pressure. Help was provided with arranging an airport transfer on departure and we were guided to the taxi location.

It really seems like Priuli is run by people of competence and diligence which was very appreciated.

Two side notes: 1. Do be aware that there is no elevator so we carried our baggage up two floors. This wasn't a problem for us as we're of average fitness and usually expect this when traveling in older areas of Europe but it would be difficult if you're elderly or differently abled. They do offer to help with the baggage though so ensure to make your needs known. 2. There were sheer curtains but no block out curtains. There are outer shutters that block out a lot of the light though so I didn't actually find it troublesome. If you need pitch blackness after sunrise though, it's probably not for you.

Fantastic stay! Would highly recommend
Pros:

The location was perfect! The hosts were so helpful. We had made a mistake on our days and they were very accommodating in making things right for us. They helped us with our luggage upon arrival as well as departure and gave us great suggestions for dining.

It was a wonderful stay which added to our holiday.
Pros:

The room was clean, spacious & air conditioned. The girls on reception were open, helpful and friendly. I can’t fault the staff.

Cons:

We opted for breakfast which was at a local restaurant. The food was delicious and served by friendly staff. There was no option but to stick to the menu. I am used to buffet options and would have liked more choice. This is a minor point.
