Another wonderful relaxing stay, with delicious food.
Pros:

We love Buxton, and the crescent holds such beautiful historic significance to the town. The food was excellent in the evening, and again at breakfast. We also enjoyed the spa facilities.

Cons:

We were a little sad to learn that the spa was no longer included in the room price but we had been made aware before the stay so this is not a complaint. Slightly suprised to find the complementary water in the room was not "Buxton" - what a shame.

Just book it!! You won't regret it.
Pros:

Absolutely stunning location, such beautiful architecture and I'm a history geek and Buxton has plenty to offer in that respect. Buxton Crescent was a delight from start to finish, the staff were exceptional and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Our evening meal was beautiful with excellent service, breakfast was the same. The spa was relaxing with plenty to offer and an array of treatments. All in all a fabulous experience and I have already recommended it to my family and friends!! 10 out of 10!!

Cons:

Nothing I had the best time and came home feeling amazing and relaxed.

If you like spas and are in Buxton a must. If you like spas and countryside an undiscovered gem.
Pros:

This is the iconic hotel of Buxton, there are many good places to stay but the spa makes this unique. The breakfast is great and there is a fine restaurant (with other good options within walking distance).

Cons:

Currently 100% - The spa will need renovation in the next five years hope they do it!

I’d stay in the area again but would wait to use this hotel again until Champneys have made improvem
Pros:

The area - Buxton Crescent is a beautiful location. Geeked with fabulous restaurants and old buildings.

Cons:

The hotel was recently taken over by champneys . It felt very disjointed. The spa was terribly unclean. The staff although nice, didn’t go the extra mile. There was no info given, regard food, spa, location etc.

Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful building
Pros:

Love the building and the decor. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is lovely

Cons:

Grout in bathroom could do with some attention, as could the grout in the swimming pool. The tiles on the bathroom floor could do with a deep clean anx the mirror at the back of the wardrobe door could go with a polish.

Great location and lovely shops under the hotel.
Pros:

The spa was extra with the package we had booked but this was not clear when booking. The superior king was at the rear of the hotel which was north facing and therefore dark. The room was not quite as the photo so I asked for an upgrade. The hotel did do this, free of charge, but still north facing. Booking .com do not show that there appear to be different grades of superior king rooms.
The concierge was very helpful.
