Pros:

Friendly staff, and beautifully appointed space.

Cons:

A lot of stairs to climb! It wasn’t easy, finding the front door to begin with. The shower was nice and hot, but was hard to turn down the hot water.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel's location.
Pros:

The location was great and the breakfast was lovely. The adjoining pub was also a bonus for us as was the close proximity to the car park. The coffee, tea and biscuits along with the lovely Roberts radio were nice touches and added to the overall bijou feel of the establishment.

Cons:

The room looked a tad tired, the carpet was dirty in places and had come loose between the bathroom and the bedroom, which caused a trip hazard. The bathroom heating system was broken which rendered the it freezing cold. As lovely as it was, I could not shower in there, however, when we checked in, this was not pointed out to us. After asking, we found it it had been this way for days, so I was a little disappointed.

Quirky, well located...
Pros:

Quirky. Atmospheric. Comfortable. Clean. Good choice, quality breakfast.
Tea and coffee in room also of good quality. Nice touches: pillow spray... All pleasant.

Cons:

Window curtains look dirty, torn in one place. Yellowed.
Constant noise of industrial fan in courtyard. Despite the ear plugs, it does make for a truly good night rest.

Good value for money in a great location for exploring the city
Pros:

Lovely decor and vintage style. Great location and lots of choices for breakfast.

Cons:

The bathroom could be a bit cold but the e heated towel rail soon warmed things up. The noise from the bins being emptied was a bit of disturbance but short lived and we could get back to sleep for a bit longer.

A jump back in time
Pros:

Lo stile e l'atmosfera della struttura erano quello che cercavo; l'attenzione al dettaglio era al massimo. La gentilezza dello staff (sia alla reception sia il team delle pulizie). La pulizia e la luminosità della camera. La qualità e abbondanza della colazione. La posizione vicino al centro e ai servizi.

Cons:

Solo dettagli!
La struttura non è dotata di ascensore e la pressione del lavandino è migliorabile. Nel pomeriggio il bar/reception chiude e bisogna rivolgersi al pub di fianco (che è sempre parte della struttura).
