I booked this because I was doing a bakery course round the corner but I am so glad I did. Staff were all lovely and helpful. I couldn't make the dinner I had booked already and so popped down to the pub next door (attached to the townhouse) and they were so accommodating with my meal. The room was spacious and comfy with nice little touches like biccies in a jar and a really nice selection of teas. The bathroom was stunning too- lovely and cosy. Breakfast was yummy and served in the lovely cafe downstairs. Perfect stay and I will stay again the next time I'm in Bath.
I have nothing bad to say from my perspective but if you have mobility issues then this might not be the place for you. The stairs to the top rooms are steep.

This quaint property exceeded my expectation, especially in value for money. It was well located, the room was neat and clean, with all basic requirements. Lovely bathroom amenities too, which can actually be used (not like some of the very entry level toiletries the big hotel chains provide). Breakfast was amazing too (a proper coffee and delicious meal). I loved the decor and charm of the property.
The road can be a little noisy in the morning, but earplugs are provided (which I didn't need, as I am an early riser)

We were in Room 3 which had the double bed ip against the window. The window rattled and was quite draughty. I resorted to putting a pillow against the bottom of the window at night to block out the draught
There was also limited room to sit in the room - so one person Sat on the bed, and one on the pouffe

Steep stairs, keep it in mind if you have a big luggage to carry. If you don't like to walk on the carpet barefoot for hygiene, bring slippers.
Lovely rooms with character and attention to detail. Coffee station had a good selection of quality teas as well as ground coffee and a 2 cup cafeteire. Got given fresh milk from reception so no small packets of cheap coffee or pods of uht milk. These little things say a lot about a place and their values. Funky art in rooms and hallways. Brilliant breakfast the following morning. All round value for money and location is nice and central. Would stay again
