Great value. A quiet retreat in the Bavarian countryside
Pros:

Charming historic building in the middle of a huge park and golf course. Huge rooms, comfy beds, grand bathrooms. The decor is dated but charming, you feel like a time traveler. The staff is nice and accommodating. The owners are Italian and the restaurant serves basic Italian food, decent pasta and pizza.

Ruhig und idyllisch
Pros:

Angenehm war besonders die Stille und idyllische Lage, nahe genug an Burghausen, aber doch nicht zu nahe dem dortigen industriellen Komplex. Und da das Il Castello auch eine Pizzeria ist, gibt es die Möglichkeit, gut italienisch zu essen!
