The View!!!
Pros:

Superb house (I stayed in chalet 3), the best view of the lake. Great set up and good location, short drive to the city centre. I highly recommend it for single like me or with friends/family.

Cons:

the chairs in the living room table are a bit ageing.

Fantastic and cozy with a cottage feel
Pros:

The location was fantastic. The atmosphere by the water was calm and serene. Our girls loved the pool/spa. The owners were fantastic and very kind.

Cons:

If I had to say something, the units are needing an upgrade. The owners were already actively updating a couple units while we were there, so it looks like that’s already happening.

Pros:

Great location and accommodation for a multi-generational family with 8 and 6 year old children. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you could ever want. Loved the spaciousness of the chalet - every room was big.
Loved having the indoor pool and spa only 10 metres from our door - perfect for young children. Beautiful quiet location but still close to town without the busyness. The views are spectacular.
Our hosts Annie and Mike are so lovely and went out of their way to help us with our arrival even topping up our firewood. Definitely will be back.

We would definitely stay here again, and we’re looking forward to coming back in the future.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay! Great location, right across from the Marina, lovely views and watching boats coming in and out of the Marina was really relaxing to watch. Easy short drive to town, but tucked away for a quiet stay. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, and going out of their way to make sure we had everything. Very generous chalet, comfy beds, wood burner and good wood supply! Kitchen was well equipped, but we didn’t cook anything.

Cons:

I am aware that the chalets are currently being renovated, which is a good thing as particularly the Bathrooms were quite tired and dated. Looking forward to see it next time, all done up!

Pros:

Honestly, 'highly recommended' doesn't even do this place justice. My stay in Taupo was absolute perfection. Everything from the vibes to the details was flawless. I’d come back to Taupo just to stay here again.

Would have loved to have stayed longer.
Pros:

Very cosy and spacious. Beautiful location. Super clean. Wood fire but also heat pump for instant heat. Very well equipped - like your own home but with more ambiance. Spa and pool room. Friendly owner - left us to ourselves but made sure we knew they were available if required.

Cons:

Was a touch over my budget.

We will definitely be back. One of the best dog friendly stays we’ve had.
Pros:

The views were exceptional and once the power cut was over it was very warm and cosy. A relaxing and calm vibe to the property. Anna was lovely to deal with.

Cons:

Looking tired but aware upgrading is happening.
