High price with no proper service

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price

I recently stayed at Cocario Resort, and my experience was far from satisfactory. For a ₹4,000 per night stay, I expected at least basic amenities and a decent level of comfort, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

Rooms: Extremely small with no proper privacy and poor soundproofing, making it difficult to relax.
Hygiene: The bedsheets and towels were not washed properly—I even found hair on them! The bathroom was poorly maintained, and the commode was broken.
Amenities: No soap, toothpaste, or other essentials provided, which should have been standard at this price point.
Service & Hospitality: While the caretaker was polite, service was clearly biased. Even though we requested breakfast in advance, we were denied saying we were late. However, a foreign tourist was served the same breakfast without any issue and received noticeably better treatment, which was disappointing to witness.
Overall, this stay was not worth ₹4,000 per night. A ₹2,000 price tag would have been more reasonable for the quality offered. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and fair stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cocario, and it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was visiting an old friend’s vintage home. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even more special. The property is housed in a charming 100-year-old building with a minimalistic aesthetic that blends perfectly with the lush, green surroundings of beetle nut trees. It almost felt like walking through a natural canopy.

This place is a paradise for nature lovers, offering tranquility and a deep connection with the outdoors. The host took the time to share the fascinating history of the house, which made the experience even more memorable. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I mentioned that pohe with grated coconut is my favorite, and to my delight, it was served at breakfast the next morning, a thoughtful touch that made me feel so cared for.

Overall, Cocario offers an unforgettable stay, combining stunning nature, history, and heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return!
