A decent hotel for the price. Don’t expect top-level service — everything is quite simple. If you only need a place to sleep and plan to spend your days exploring, it’s a very good option. The location is convenient: close to the ferries, the seafront, and plenty of cafés and bars. The staff are friendly.
The hotel is on a quiet street, so there’s no noise from late-night parties outside.
The only drawback is the school opposite: from about 9 a.m. it gets rather noisy with children playing in the yard. If you like to sleep late, bear this in mind.
The air conditioner is placed just above the head of the bed. We didn’t use it, but it dripped a little water — we put a glass under it and that solved the issue.

Recht saubere Zimmer
Am 1. Tag hatten wir teilweise keinen Strom auf unserem Zimmer, am 2. Tag war in der Früh ohne Information aufgrund von Bauarbeiten im Haus das Wasser abgestellt worden. Von der Rezeption kam auf die Info, wir könnten uns ja im darunterliegenden Café das Gesicht waschen. Nicht akzeptabel.
In der 3. Nacht ist nachts von der Klimaanlage Wasser auf unser Gesicht getropft, sehr eklig. Bei unserer Abreise war zudem noch der Aufzug ausgefallen.
Generell wurden die Renovierungsarbeiten sehr unprofessionell durchgeführt, das Treppenhaus ist nach wie vor eine einzige Baustelle.
Wir können das Hotel auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.
Great location near everything, on a quiet street. Our second stay in this hotel. This time we took a king-suite with a sea view (room 601). Quite a small room, but a huge balcony, and the view was really great. Good choise in the summer, when you can enjoy your morning coffee in the balcony, or watch the sunset there in the evening. Comfy bed, good fridge, good shower. The staff was friendly.
This room had a carpeted floor, not ideal for allergic person. No cleaning during our stay.

The only thing that we liked was the location of the hotel. It was in a quiet part of Kadıköy.
The room was nothing like the one shown in the pictures I booked. Instead, we were given an extremely small room with a view of an emergency staircase and trees. The room was really dark. At night, we couldn’t open the window because it was full of butterflies and other bugs. On top of that, we woke up every morning with ants in the beds. The bathroom had no shelves or holders, so there was nowhere to put even a shampoo. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, which was extremely uncomfortable as it kept falling on you. When we showered, the water didn’t drain properly. In the entire room, there wasn’t a single mirror except for the one in the bathroom.
