Pros:

It doesn’t have breakfast but everything was excellent I would like to come back

Cons:

At early morning hot water was not hot we couldn’t do shower just that everything was perfect also I wish they had breakfast too

We had a great time. All staff were exceptional. We will definitely book to stay again.
Pros:

The location was perfect. The hotel was right on the beach and 5 minutes away from all the bars, The Mall, supermarket and the bank. It didn't have a restaurant but that was fine as you have the local supermarket that sells hot food for breakfast. The bedrooms were very clean, spacious and adequate for our trip. We loved being on the beach and close to all amenities. The room has a fridge, coffee machine and iron board. You can get an iron from reception.

Cons:

The only negative was that it didn't have a restaurant on site to have breakfast in the morning.

Budget-Friendly Hotel right on Grand Anse Beach
Pros:

The location of the Allamanda is lovely as you can walk right off the property onto Grand Anse Beach. There are some lounge chairs available that you can bring from the property to the beach. The Allamanda is at an easy walk to many fine restaurants, some on the beach or only a block away close to the Spice Island Mall. The Mall also has the Real Value/IGA food store, which is a plus and a bank for getting money from the ATM.

The rooms were clean, nicely air-conditioned and the staff was friendly. I spent some time in the pool and on the pool deck and it was lovely. It was a standard pool, so don't expect a lagoon area or swim up bar.

The grounds are beautiful complete with fruit trees, palm trees and flowers. The verandas attached to each room were private and it was enjoyable to sit out during the day.

The resort has outside showers and taps to wash sand off your feet and to cleanse yourself before entering the pool.

The staff was wonderful at giving us late checkout so we did not have to hang around somewhere else waiting for our plane. I noticed there was a luggage room too, that could accommodate those who wanted to store luggage.

The room came with a decent size mini fridge and coffee maker. There were plastic coffee cups, coffee, tea, sugar and powdered milk, plus glasses. When we checked in, we were given a bottle of water each.

The shower was lovely, with a nice spray and hot water. The hotel provides a small bottle of shampoo/conditioner, towels and beach towels.

The hotel is budget-friendly for those who want a clean room and comfortable bed, but not the other amenities of the more expensive resorts.

It was nice to have the weight room, with exercise equipment and hand weights. There were fans in the fitness room to keep it cool.

Cons:

As the public park is next door and it was the weekend of Grenada's Independence Celebration, there was quite a bit of noise coming from the park, including a sunrise church service at 6 am on Sunday morning.

It would have been nice to have a simple breakfast available. The restaurant/bar that was formerly open at the resort is now closed. I feel the hotel has lost out on an excellent opportunity to increase revenue by not re-opening the restaurant/bar.

I used the exercise room. The equipment was adequate, but I would suggest a spray bottle or wipes to clean off the equipment after use. The room, especially the black floor interlocking rubber tiles, could use a good cleaning. I got a black "soot-like" substance all over my runners, my short bottom and my legs and arms when I tried to do some stretching and floor exercises.

I inquired about a washer and dryer and was told the housekeeping staff would do it. Unfortunately, each item had a price attached to it. It would be helpful for the hotel to create a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers for guests to use themselves.

Great location, good value for money, some improvements needed.
Pros:

Hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of Grand Anse beach, and beach fronting. I liked that the hotel had a pool, a gym, and additional showering facilities by the pool. The staff were friendly, and everything that I asked for was met (baring balcony sliding door fix). The hotel had good spaces outside of the rooms for sitting and reading, chatting to other residents.

Cons:

The room security was poor. As an example, the lock to my balcony sliding door was broken, so a piece of wood was provided to put in the door sliding mechanism so that the door could not be opened from outside. This did not give me confidence that someone could not get in. Also no bar facilities in the hotel, either in main hotel, or by the pool. This was a missed opportunity I felt. The mosquito mesh on all windows also had holes/gaps in them, and there were a lot of mosquitos in the room.

Overall ratio quality/price is very good!
Pros:

Perfect position just in front of the main beach of Grenada.
Supermarket, shopping centre and lots of places for eating are just few minutes walking from the hotel.
Very friendly staff

Cons:

It’s a bit old and maybe some renovation would be better 😉
