Great property, you are made to feel so welcome an Downham Market has lots to offer.
Pros:

Staff are exceptional. It is a family run hotel, they know exactly who you are when you arrive and make you very welcome. You are shown to your room and everything is explained to you. It is a really quaint English Coaching Inn with tonnes of character.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Pleasant staff but poor facilities
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located and close to shops and restaurants
It’s a very old and historic coaching inn with a cosy bar and real fire.
The staff and owner were very helpful and pleasant. A bonus is the on-site parking.
We had an excellent breakfast but had to pay extra for it.

Cons:

Our ‘superior’ room was very small. The decor in the room was very dated and needs a major overhaul. We found the beds uncomfortable. The shower was not very powerful. Overall we thought it expensive for not much in return.

Pros:

The inn had a lot of wonderful character, and the pub right downstairs was great. We were so appreciative that they were able to get us in for an early check in after a red eye flight. Easy walking distance to lots of places. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast!

Would stop again as lovely small town with everything we needed
Pros:

Stayed at The Crown it was the closest hotel for watching the Brisca F1 world final at Kings Lynn. The hotel was full of stock car fans with lots of Dutch fans also stopping. We had a two night stay

Cons:

We travelled a long way it would of been nice to have a late beer as bar closed just after 11:00

The standout point was the staffs keenness to help whatever way they could.
Pros:

The location is perfect slapdash in the centre of town. The train station is about a half a mile away
