Disgraceful that booking.com does not check if their customers and properties are legitimate for the service advertised.
Pros:

The property existed, but not for the service advertised. The house was unused. Someone contacted me after I called on provided number unsuccessfully, promised for a refund for a non-existent service, but that has not been done. Even rudeness in emails appears. Working with booking.com to get this resolved, but there is second week and nothing has been done yet.

APPALLING.
Pros:

NOTHING - the fact that this property is advertised still on booking.com when the property doesn’t even exist - it’s someone’s home and the landlord still hasn’t taken the property listing down, left me and my partner stranded since we had booked this place as a last minute resort since all hotels were booked, arrived at the address to be told that this property is now someone’s home and that the landlord is still advertising on booking.com despite the property not existing.
