Loved everything about our stay at Puleera. Such a stunning location, with views of the sea and Etna. The breakfast was delicious and we loved our room and terrace! The property is also conveniently located in Giarre, making day trips to the base if Etna, Taormina and surrounding towns easy. Note that a car is needed. I will be recommending to all friends who want to travel to Sicily on the east coast! Hopefully we can return one day. Thank you!
Rien
Almost Perfect hotel with luxury pool. Amazing and helpful stuff. Great breakfast with Etna view.
The room n.5 for four people was smaller than we expected. We could hear traffic from the road fairly clearly.
The rooms and beautiful and clean! It’s a short drive from Taormina. Quiet spot with best views
A truly unforgettable stay in a meticulously restored 17th-century manor villa. Every detail has been carefully preserved, creating an authentic historic atmosphere while still offering all the modern comfort, privacy, and quality needed for a relaxing stay.
Mrs. Paola D’Amico, the great-granddaughter of the noble founder, gives the place a very special and personal welcome. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with period-style paintings on the walls and ceilings.
Breakfast on the terrace, overlooking Mount Etna and the sea, was wonderful, with delicious Sicilian specialties prepared with great care by Mrs. Lori. A special thank-you also to Maria Concetta and Gabriele, who were always kind, attentive, and helpful.
The traditional Sicilian dinners organized by the property, whether in the historic outdoor patio or in the private cellars, are absolutely not to be missed.
The beds are fine and full size and comfortable, however the rooms are properly sized to accomodate even king size beds, which I wish could be available in the future to ensure that every comfort is meet like at home
An amazing property which is run by exceptionally friendly and accomodating staff who cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is excellent and even includes an amazing view of Etna. If you get the opportunity to eat on the property, do take it. The food is excellent. The property is also ideally located for day trips to local towns, cities and beaches.
Nothing.
This was by far one of the most special places I've ever stayed. The property is stunning and there's attention to every detail - this makes a difference! Big thanks to Maria for being so nice and welcoming, and to the whole staff for making us feel at home.
Highlights:
- Delicious breakfast, with fresh fruit and juices, homemade jams and more
- Free parking inside the property
- Location is very central to go to many places around Etna and other towns
- Great size room
- Swimming pool with views to the sea and Etna
The only thing I can mention was that we could hear the road noises from our room.
The ability to totally relax and destress. The amazing view of Etna at breakfast. The attention to detail. The fabulous staff who made us feel part of the family. The rooms, the pool … everything!
Leaving and saying goodbye to the team
We spent three wonderful nights at Puleera in early May 2026, and we truly can't recommend it enough! The hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a lush lemon grove, beautifully repurposed from a historic wine production facility. The design is a stunning blend of heritage and chic, modern comfort.
One thing we especially loved was the accommodation itself; rather than feeling like standard, efficient hotel rooms, the spaces are designed more like charming small apartments, giving you plenty of room to truly settle in.
Every morning started with a delicious, homemade breakfast on the terrace—complete with an unforgettable view of Mount Etna. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to suggest the best local spots and day trips. Plus, if you need to stay connected, the Wi-Fi is rock-solid, even in the outdoor seating areas. It’s a peaceful, safe, and perfectly located home base for exploring Taormina, Savoca, Catania, Etna Park and many other unique Sicilian places!
