Small, quiet.
Area around the inn was not great.
Close to everything
Small outdated rooms, no water pressure
The bed wasn't terribly uncomfortable. The windows opened.
I booked a queen room and got two double beds. The room smelled SO bad. We discovered the source of the smell was mothballs under the bathroom sink. We had to open both windows and the door and run the AC at full blast to clear enough of the smell out to make it possible to even be in the room. Our room key stopped working at 10am even though check out wasn't until 11 and we could not reaccess our room. Thankfully we had already taken everything out to leave. Had we not been on a tight schedule, we would have booked a different place and left. The smell was so bad.
Owners very friendly
I got the motel room for my 18yo son who had orientation at ball state for 2 days. This was his first experience on his own. He said the guy at the deck was super nice and made it easy for him. The room was clean and comfortable. He felt safe. The price was affordable. Thank you.
The value
The location. The room looked dated. It was not the room that was advertised on the website.

A random phone call to my room. Asking for someone I don’t kno and threatening
The desk clerk was friendly and recommended that fantastic Mexican restaurant across the street. The room was immaculately clean and had the basics we needed for a place to sleep before a bicycling event the next day .
