Pros:

Close to my destination

Cons:

Everything else .. the room was disgusting. The bathroom door did not close from being swollen due to water damage. There was a bucket next to the toilet to catch leaking water from the ceiling. The carpet was moist and there was major water damage and smelled moldy. There were car air fresheners hung throughout the room to cover up the smell. It was the worst hotel experience of my life. I was scared to sleep not knowing what I was inhaling and possibly sleeping on.

Advertised cable TV but could not access any cable channels. Towels were wet and stained. Was not given the wifi password and could not get ahold of the front desk to ask them

Cons:

Upon arrival, no one was there to give us our room key. When the owner arrived, he said he had been out all day for the doctor. Room was dirty. Booked a two night stay and just couldn't spend the 2nd night there. Told the owner and he offered to give us a different room or to tell him when I was coming again to give us a free room but even if the room were free, we would not stay there again.

A place to sleep rather than in your car.
Pros:

It was a motel room, that’s about all you can say about it that’s ‘good’

Cons:

Dirty, overpriced, no WiFi, rubbish towels, terrible shower, awful lighting, windows didn’t lock, it’s simply a place to sleep other than in your car.

It was nice to be so close to The college

Cons:

Very old motel. Room smelled very strongly like musty mildew. Was not a faint damp basement type smell was very strong. Bed was clean and actually comfortable and ac worked well. If the carpets got replaced and mildew was not so strong would be a great value for staying in Alfred

A scam.
Cons:

The staff seemed to lack proficiency in English. They made me understand that they wanted to double charge my card and also make me pay a fee because we had a car. I felt scammed and never got refunded.
