Rumah Mimpi Guest House

Comment dire whaou nous nous sommes sentis comme dans notre famille, Made est d’une bienveillance et gentillesse tout comme sa femme Ilo et son fils Jordi.
Made s’est adapté à notre emploi du temps et nous a véhiculé durant les 3 jours. Nous avons pu partager un super moment d’échange en allant au marché avec eux pour les achats de la cooking class qui s’est transformée en partie de rigolade.
Nous avons pu échanger avec son amie Heidie en visio depuis la Suisse. Même si mon chéri ne parle pas du tout anglais il a tout fait pour se faire comprendre tellement nous nous sommes sentis bien. La chambre est très propre, bonne climatisation, eau chaude… Léo le chien de la maison est aussi cool que ses maîtres!

Firstly,  I would like to thank Made and his wife, Ylo, for their kindness and hospitality. I learnt so much about Bali customs and culture during my stay. 

I even had the honour of attending a couple of Hindu ceremonies, at the local temple and at Besakih Temple.

Ylo cooking was so delicious that, bar 1 evening, I ate at the homestay.  Local ingredients, beautifully prepared and eaten with the family. The one evening that I ate out,  Made and Ylo accompanied me to a local warung to eat Babi Guling. Wow!! What a treat!!!

Made is an excellent guide, and I got to visit waterfalls and temples in the Lovina area. I borrowed Mades mountain bike for a day, and once again, Made gave me great recommendations for waterfalls and rice terraces to visit. 

The visit to Besakih Temple was special. I witnessed Made and Ylo performing ceremonies at their family temples,  and then was able to take part in a ceremony at the mother Temple, which plays a hugely important part in the oneness of Bali.

The room that I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The AC and fan was fully functional. 

Rumah Mimpi translates to 'Dream House'. The location is far enough away from the busy beach area, providing a peaceful and chilled place to relax and recharge.

Very friendly host and son, wife made us breakfast in the morning, dog was friendly and good security.

Amazing house and nice room with air conditioner and good wi-fi, with very kind and friendly family made this trip as best experience to stay on bali, very good accommodation with kitchen and everything you need to stay at house, awesome local food prepared by hosts every day and cooking lessons, so no need to go to the cafes or restaurants, lovely garden and patio just to relax and enjoy your time especially at rain season, it’s feels like at home ❤️

We spend a wonderful moment in this guest house with my friends.
The localization is great.
The house and the garden are beautiful.
Many thank's from the bottom of my heart to Made and his family, with whom we really enjoyed spending time chatting and having friendly moments.
Made is a very nice and captivating host. He took care of the transportation, a tour of the interesting activities around the area, and even a decorated tree and diner with his family for Christmas !!
It was also very pleasant to be able to use the kitchen to share meals, we even had a cooking class for Christmas.
