Mehmaan Nawazi at its best.
Pros:

Absolutely brilliant stay at The Citadel. Right from the time I was in touch with Waseem ji regarding my booking. It's been a pleasure to have chosen to stay here. He has been accommodative and flexible about my travel dates and more than obliging regarding everything that hit us due to the unpleasant circumstances that we were faced with recently. He gave me the comfort of flexibility to reschedule or cancel or just stay on and was always reachable. Not to forget Hameed bhai and Sajjad who made my stay more than comfortable and were always willing to look into every aspect of my stay. Not to mention the beautiful property with a name that couldn't be more apt and befitting - The Citadel. Highly, highly recommended if u want to stay in a gorgeously maintained property that looks like a castle and experience "Mehmaan Nawaazi" in its truest sense. Don't forget to smell the insane number of roses on each of the many rose plants around the garden.

Pros:

Pros: 1. Beautiful property. The exterior and the interior are well designed and aesthetic.
2. The rooms are good and clean.
3. They have a washing machine that we were allowed to use.

Cons: 1. The cook Mr. Abdul was kind of not cool. He was cooperative mostly. He did cook and pack meals for our baby but this one time he refused to cook a khichdi for our one year old.
2. The location is hard to reach. The road is narrow.

Good stay, but can be excellent
Pros:

The property is beautiful and has a nice lawn. The staff is super friendly and consists of a good chef. The rooms are quite big.

Cons:

There is a peculiar smell when you enter the room. You should cordon off the 2nd floor, as I did not find it safe for kids. My daughter went there by mistake, and I was shocked it was used as a store room, whereas it could be turned into a game zone or something useful. The mattress can be slightly better as you can feel the bed frame when you lie down. Maybe a kettle + glasses in the rooms can be useful.
