Very welcoming and friendly, lovely old pub with nice comfy beds.
Old historic great location
The rooms were very spacious with plenty of teas / coffees free great location
The shower was nice only moan was mildew on the sealant which made it look in clean a good squirt of bleach would resolve this
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food choice was good and the food was of good quality.
Bedroom was small and the shower cubicle was tiny.

The location right in centre of Monmouth is amazing, views from room, brilliant. Staff we dealt with lovely.
The room we had was very disappointing. Dirty - needs a good clean. Consideration of furniture to space, too many chairs and large furniture for size of room, could be so much better with some thought and modernization. Bathroom basic. Beds never made in 3 nights, little to no room service.
Great location for the shops and bars in the town

The location was great. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was a great size and attractively decorated.
It was not a problem for us but it was slightly noisy being an older building, we could hear the street outside and some noise from other guests.
