Lovely staff, characteristic property, cleanliness needs attention. Menu revamp.
Pros:

Our room was cute and cosy, I liked the decor and colours the room was decorated in. Felt homely. Bed was very comfortable, I even took a photo of the mattress make so I could look up the brand. A good night’s sleep. Excellent central location which is why we chose to stay in the first place. Couldn’t fault the staff, they were happy and helpful.

Cons:

The cleanliness of our room definitely wasn’t up to scratch. The room itself was ok but the bathroom needs some serious work. The shower wash pump was broken and just left on top of the bottle, the toilet was dirty and overall the shower just needs a really good deep clean. It’s not cleaned well at all. Dirty mirrors etc. I was in and out of the shower as quickly as I could.
Mattress protector was filthy, full of stains.
We had a restaurant meal, food was ok. Starters weren’t really starters in my opinion, curry was middle of the road. I’d probably choose a restaurant close by instead.

Charming historical inn. Lovely rooms.
Pros:

Gorgeous old property. Warm and clean. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Beautiful room.

Cons:

No coffee sachets in room but that wasn’t a problem for the 1 night we had there.

Pros:

Ideal to visit Savoy, good price & very comfortable

Tasty breakfast. Good atmosphere. Cosy room. Very helpful & friendly staff.

Cons:

Room 1 faces the main road so we were disturbed by delivery lorries from about 4am onwards...can't be helped but I would ask for another room next time

Brilliant. Lovely night out at the Blake theatre. Friendly pub to come back to and a cosy warm
Pros:

The room was small but so cosy. I was offered a larger room which i turned down because I wanted a bath. Staff friendly informative. Ideal setting in a beautiful historic town. Staying again in December

Great stay - excellent location - lovely staff - breakfast exceptional
Pros:

Deluxe double room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities were good from toiletries to tea/coffee. The stay was really good. Great location too. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional. I would 100% recommend.

Cons:

WIFI was unreliable. That's the only small issue but managed without.
