Kaskazi Hotel Zanzibar

Great location and a beautiful new property. The hotel is thoughtfully designed with lovely boho-chic vibes. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
We absolutely loved it!

Pequeno-almoço excelente, com muita variedade. Serviço de Buffet ao jantar excelente também. O menú à La Carte para as horas de almoço muito apelativo, bom tamanho das doses que inclusive dá para partilhar. A Limpeza de todo o espaço excelente. Os colaboradores são espetaculares, sempre disponíveis. O Peter e o Hassan são dois líderes natos, que conseguem ter a equipa sempre motivada para o dia-a-dia.

Le personnel est très professionnel, aux petits soins, ouvert à la discussion sans être envahissant. L'équipe semble réellement heureuse de travailler et cela se ressent. Les installations elles que les 2 piscines avec les transats et matelas sont incroyables. Le buffet est renouvelé tous les jours avec des saveurs de tous horizons.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful, we went to celebrate our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff were so welcoming (Husna greeted us in and took great care of us), kind, hospitable, helpful and ensured our stay was incredibly special- they surprised us with a lovely honeymoon bed decor, a drink (which was originally alcohol but once we explained we don’t drink they kindly gave us a non alcoholic alternative) and so many freshly cut fruit! Food was delicious, we loved that everyday was a different buffet and we really appreciated how much love the chefs put into making the meals. On the days we didn’t want to eat at the restaurant, the staff were more than happy for us to take our food to our rooms and if any mosquitos got in, housekeeping would come straight away to spray down our rooms.

We stayed in a suite with a private pool, rooftop terrace and also a spa bath. The suite was immaculate, we loved the tropical aesthetic, it really put us into holiday mode and the views were stunning- We woke up everyday to a beautiful sunrise.

The resort also had access to the beach which was so convenient, and it was a beautiful beach, super serene, not crowded at all, we had the beach to ourselves most days and it was lovely to unwind there and explore the low tides. There was also entertained after dinner which was lovely, and so many great photo opportunities!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay, it was truly the best hotel out of all the places we stayed in on the island. And we plan to return when we visit Zanzibar again!!!

The place is amazing, a quiet paradise

La struttura è bellissima, dotata di tutti i comfort. Lo staff è semplicemente meraviglioso, professionale e amichevole nello stesso tempo, sempre pronto a mettere l’ospite a proprio agio. Il cibo è incredibilmente vario, freschissimo, abbondante e soprattutto buonissimo, sempre presentato dallo chef con grande cura.
Le camere sono ampie e spaziose dotate di tutti i comfort, di una veranda e di una terrazza privata. Il giardino è tenuto con grande cura, la cui vista si fonde con l’oceano. Meraviglioso!
Infine, ogni serata è arricchita da intrattenimenti sempre diversi che rendono ancora più piacevole il soggiorno.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach unglaublich! Das Hotel ist makellos sauber, traumhaft auf einer Klippe gelegen und der perfekte Ort für alle, die Ruhe und eine echte Rückzugsoase suchen. Jeden Morgen in diesem Paradies aufzuwachen und den atemberaubenden Ausblick zu genießen, war etwas ganz Besonderes.

Das gesamte Team ist außergewöhnlich herzlich und engagiert. Besonders Peter und Sara haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht – ihre Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und rundum wohlgefühlt haben.

Und vom Essen ganz zu schweigen: einfach unfassbar lecker! Jede Mahlzeit war ein echtes Highlight und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel von Herzen empfehlen. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

The pool and entertainment was nice , staff was lovely

The best hotel we stayed in Zanzibar, we stayed in 3 different hotels, including a five star one and I can say that Kaskazi was the best by far. All the staff makes everything to make you feel happy and comfortable. Peter, the manager is the most kind and polite person ever and Sara from "guest relations" is amazing, polite and sweet with super local tips and made sure we had local interesting performers on the entertainment every night! We loved all the night activities. The bedroom was amazing (the bathtub was a really good touch) the views from anywhere in the hotel are spectacular and you cant believe how beautiful it is , the pool in front of the ocean is incredible, lots of chairs to sit and relax, read. Everything was perfect. We had to leave at 4 am because of our flight and Peter made sure we had our breakfast and water to go! So sweet, we could not believe! The best of the best!
