Lovely stay – would definitely return!
Pros:

The bed was super comfy, and the decor showed beautiful attention to detail and creativity (see photos). Bernie was really helpful, attentive and welcoming, with clear instructions for finding the room. It felt private, secure and spotlessly clean, with all the necessities covered, including a fridge, kettle, plates, soap, shampoo, wet wipes, and even sanitary products.

Cons:

Some morning noise from the driveway (room is a garage conversion) and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow (installing a wireless access point in the room would help). But neither would stop us staying again. Highly recommended!

Value-for-money couple/single's unit well located to the Gold Coast beaches
Pros:

The room was easy to find; excellent instructions. On entry, the bedroom area was welcoming and spacious. There is crockery, a fridge, toaster, kettle etc for making breakfast and storage space for bags. The bathroom has toiletries provided and is also spacious (this is where it adjoins the main house, so there is a bit of kitchen and TV noise audible from the tenants when in the bathroom).

Cons:

There is a bit of noise from time to time - from the main house and from cars going past in the gated complex. It is minor though and wouldn't put me off staying again.

Good location.
The welcome pack was nice.

A communal poor and garden was a short walk away which was nice.

Thanks for a great stay.

Cons:

Only negative things was there was no washing machine and no outdoor area to sit in to have a coffee.

The apartment was actually a garage conversion.

The host was very creative, the location was great, everything you could possibly need was provided, and the level of attention to detail was great, even small things like a nail cutter and Panadol.

Great studio stay
Pros:

This gorgeous studio is perfect. The location is amazing, it’s newly done, clean, super comfortable and in a really secure spot. Bernie leaves a personalised touch and there was everything we needed.

It was so perfect for our weekend trip.

Room is converted garage
Pros:

Some thought has gone into making room homely

Cons:

Room is a converted garage.

Only source of natural light is patio doors. But felt that we had to keep curtains closed at all times for privacy reasons as people could pass right by and see into room.

Bathroom is only separated from main property by (locked) wooden door - noise comes through.

Bit rough at edges, eg missing trim, exposed plasterboard, holes in wall.

Vital message re gaining access to property went missing. Prepared to accept that this is booking.com problem. Host said would follow up but never heard back

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Bernie the host was really approachable and provided good communication. A lovely welcome note and two chocolates were waiting for us when we arrived. We were also only 10 minutes drive from the beach, shopping and cafes/restaurants.
