Disappointed
Pros:

Facility was clean

Cons:

Room would not go below 24 degree Celcius.
I told the room attendant and he gave us a fan that did not work. We asked for a thin bedsheet for each bed because the comforter was too heavy and room was hot. He only gave us 1 bedsheet and told us we need to pay 22,000 KRW for another bedsheet even though the room was too hot. Very disappointed in the service and this is not the first time we stayed at this hotel.

Decent hotel, but too crowded.
Pros:

What I did like about the property was the style of the hotel.

Cons:

The staff were polite, but not all of them had the best English. When booking you see the possibility of a fitness, a swimming pool, etc. upon trying to use such facilities , you have to pay extra.

Also, it also a very busy hotel due to the many facilities around.

진정한 대구의 5성급 호텔이 되었으면 합니다.비난x
Pros:

처음에는 2박만 할려고 했는데, 뷰가 답답해서 추가비용을 지불하고 스위트룸에서 4박을 잘 보냈읍니다. 2박후에 다른 타입의 스위트룸으로 옮기는 과정에서도 서비스를 잘 받았읍니다. 황xx직원의 서비스가 좋았네요. 29년경에 신라호텔이 대구에 온다고 해도 현재의 좋은 위치를 잘 활용하고 좀 더 내부시설면에서 디테일함을 보완만한다고 하면 충분한 경쟁이 될거 같네요.

Cons:

현재 대구에서 5성급 호텔로 되어있는데, 서울의 5성급인 신라, 파르나스호텔등과 비교하면, 객관적으로는 4성급호텔이 아닌가 싶네요. 그나마 대구에서는 젤 나은거 같고 동대구역인근의 메리어트호텔보다도 나은거 같다는 생각입니다. 아쉬운 점은, 룸서비스의 메뉴가 많이 다양하지않은 점과, 냉장고다과가 없는 것이 약간 당황했읍니다. 룸서비스의 음식과 과일의 질은 서울의 어느 호텔보다도 가성비가 있었읍니다. 좀더 분발해서 대구의 최고 호텔이 되었으면 좋겠네요.

Breakfast was fine.

Cons:

The facility was not great. Our bathroom light did not work. No iron in the room. When requested, we were told to bring down the garments to iron in a room near the lobby. We left after one night and went to the Marriott.

Pros:

Very good bed, comfy, room is quiet, good breakfast, but I guess you have to be early, as I was coming slightly after 9 (breakfast is till 10) and they're starting to remove everything and not much food is left to choose from. The room was too warm and couldn't lower the temperature (control did nothing if you set the temperature at 22, and it was still staying at 26+). Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful interior of the lobby.
