The family owners were extremely friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.

L'emplacement est idéal, juste à côté du marché. Et en prime c'est tranquille le soir. On peut louer des scooters pour explorer la région pas loin de l'hôtel. La jeune fille à la réception est toujours très souriantes.

Personnel très accueillant, à l’écoute et de très bon conseils.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and we've been very satisfied: the room was spacious and clean with all we needed, and the bed big and comfortable.
At the reception there was a girl, Dina, always very kind and happy to help with any request and even going the extra mile: we had rent a scooter and, at night, she offered us to park it in a closed garage rather than leaving it outside.
We really recommend this hotel and we would like to thank, once more, Dina.

Das Hotel hat bessere Tage gesehen, für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Der Preis ist gut, daher ist es schwer, sich zu beschweren. Es gibt einfach nicht viel zu tun im Zentrum von Battambang. Das Foto ist alt, ich wäre gerne dort gewesen, als das Foto gemacht wurde.The hotel has seen better days, for one night okay. Price is good so it’s hard to complain. There is simply not much to do in central Battambang. The photo is old, I would have loved to been there when the photo was taken.

Great location, good rooms, beautiful old style building, nice and helpful family & staff - great place to stay in Battambang !

* A friendly welcome from Dina during check-in. She was sweet, friendly and helpful without being pushy throughout our entire stay at Royal Hotel. No touting at all during our stay.
* A great scooter rental place is located just a few doors down from the hotel: LE Scooters.
* Secure overnight parking for bicycles and motorbikes - there's a small locked garage across from the hotel.
* This is an older building with a sort of retro character feel going on - we like that. The entire property was very clean and seemed in good repair.
* Very close to assorted restaurants, supermarkets, the train station and some long distance bus departure points to other parts of Cambodia.

Our Room, #203:
* Clean, bright and comfortable with a window, curtains and private balcony.
* Aircon worked good and ran quietly.
* Two bedside tables, two chairs, a desk and chair, a wardrobe closet, dresser and mirror. Much of the furniture was solid wood and it was all in good repair/sturdy.
* Refrigerator and electric kettle.
* VERY comfortable bed and pillows - a rarity for us during our travels through SEA. Sheets were clean and fresh. The duvet was new.
* Room was quiet - street noise was not an issue for us and guests were quiet and respectful of fellow guests. No construction going on outside during our stay and no bars nearby blasting music. All in all, very peaceful.
* Bathroom with hot water from the electric shower. Toilet and sink did not leak. Cotton towels were fresh and clean.
* Daily room cleaning was by request - you could put a "Please Clean" or "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.

Hôtel bien situé, juste à côté du marché. Chambre simple mais efficace. Personnel sympa, surtout la petite jeune à la réception!
