The rudest people we've ever dealt with — and not just in hospitality!

The people running this place were unbelievably rude and condescending. We hadn't even gotten out of the car before being reprimanded for supposedly driving too fast and parking in the wrong spot. My husband was spoken to like an idiot for missing a handwritten A4 parking sign. When he simply asked the woman to calm down, she snapped, "DO YOU EVEN WANT TO STAY HERE?"

Another man then approached and lectured him about how disrespectful it was to speak to a "manager" like that. We didn't even know these people were management! They were casually sitting outside drinking and playing music, with nothing identifying them as staff.

All this over an innocent parking mistake that could've been resolved with a polite explanation! Even the children were uncomfortable witnessing the confrontation.

The accommodation was no better. Stained mattress, inadequate bedroom ventilation, and incredibly noisy from highway traffic and passing coal trains. While looking for something as we were leaving, I discovered food crumbs, rubbish and belongings from previous guests underneath the couch. Yet guests are expected to clean and empty bins or risk additional charges!

We even bumped into the family staying beside us at the rodeo, and ended up bonding over how rude the staff were and how dirty we both found the cabins!

We paid $160 for four people. We weren't expecting luxury, just basic cleanliness and courtesy.

We've stayed at far cheaper caravan parks with significantly better hospitality.

We weren't even planning to leave a review, but the more we reflected on our experience, the more we felt other travellers deserved to know.

It's called HOSPITALITY. Being hospitable is literally the whole point!

The cabins could use a little maintenance/TLC. The lock on my cabin door was loose/unsecured and the tv was having issues / freezing often.

The cabins don't have ramps had to lift my luggage up the steps.

I liked every bit of the stay

The lady at the front office abused me and my brother before we even made it to reception. Apparently we was speeding and didnt park in the wrong spot. Talked to me like a dog and I hadto hold my tounge. When I come back I made sure I was going way slower then the speed limit. Almost laughable. And then her husband come out like Paul Bart Mall cop on a scooter and told us to slow down. Her husband was chill but very strange.
Me and my my brother left again and come back at like 9:30pm and her husband was following up with his Paul Bart scooter and harrassed us again lol. Definitely wont be staying there ever again. Feel for the cuck husband.

Very basic accommodation. Sheets weren't provided for the single bed and since we arrived after hours, I made with what was there.
The lounge wasn't very comfortable.
I didn't realise it was so close to the railway line. A lot of freight trains passed by at all hours of the day and night

Very tight to drive round.
