Ratana Platinum Resort

The prpoerty had everything that i needed. The pool is nice. The people running the show are also very nice and efficient! You can tell people enjoy working there which says something about the ownership.

Excellent place to stay in Kamala area. It can be a little noisy from outdoors in morning but most times it’s good. Walking distance to beach, 7 Eleven and other shops

I was initially disappointed in the hotel, as the deluxe room was much smaller than expected and didn't have a couch. I showed the room's picture on the hotel website to the reception desk and was told that wasn't the correct photo. Not long after I heard from the hotel manager, explaining whoever put together the hotel website made an error, but offering a free upgrade. I was impressed at his response - he was forthcoming and reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel and can't praise the premium deluxe room enough!

friendly staff

Lovely owner who was friendly and happy to help with anything. Pool on roof was really nice but they hadn't opened the pool bar when we were there; will be a great addition when it is open. Rooms were great, and the beach/bars were in walking distance.

Great hotel in a great location. My wife and I enjoyed our stay there. It has a great bar and restaurants at the roof top. My wife and I especially loved and the rooftop restaurant.

No se ponía el seguro de la puerta (podías entrar con o sin llave), tampoco cerraba la puerta al balcón, pusimos el letrero de no molestar y aún así entraron al cuarto, nos robaron objetos personales y al momento de comunicarlo a recepción no hicieron nada. Por la noche no hay personal del hotel, pero si de queda abierto y puede entrar cualquier persona. Si tienen la oportunidad de quedarse aquí mejor desaprovechenla.

Generally a good stay and nice big apartment, with friendly staff.

The place felt in development rather than the finished article. The gym was small and rusty weights, broken lights in the pool, the pool bar was construction and unusable.

These small adjustments that would ensure its 4 star online rating.

The roof pool is nice. Unfortunately the balcony doors do not lock.

Das war das schlimmste Hotel was ich in Thailand gebucht habe
Es entspricht teilweise nicht der Beschreibung von Expedia. Die Bilder die abgebildet waren entsprechen nicht das Zimmer was wir gebucht hatten bei Expedia . Bilder von Economy Zimmer werden nicht dargestellt.
Ich konnte mir bisher nicht vorstellen das ein Hotelzimmer kein keine Fenster hat in einen Hotel
Zudem war das Zimmer klein und teilweise abgewohnt. Auf dem Tisch war eine Glasplatte darunter Schmutz und Schimmel .
Im Kleiderschrank Staub und nur 3 Kleiderbügel. 2 waren belegt von den Bademänteln.
Duschgel gab es nur auf Nachfrage da unser alle war. Morgens 6.00 Uhr hörte man Geräusche von der Küche von Geschirr spülen und Braten und Kochen.

I enjoyed staying at the Ratana hotel. The staff made me was very professional and friendly. I stayed a week here and I felt like I was at home due to how comfortable my stay was.

The most welcoming and accommodating hotel ever stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to help and make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble.
