Staff were great. Good size bedroom with front facing view. Bedroom and en suite clean and well presented. Food looked good although we were meeting family elsewhere that evening and didnt actually eat there. Drinks very reasonably priced.
Nothing. And if visiting our family in Banchory again it will defo be where we stay.
Having breakfast as an option would have been great. But if they dont have the guests for it then you cant expect it to be put on. There are options locally for breakfast a 5 min walk away.
Wouldnt stop us re-booking.

La mancanza di disponibilità della colazione e in generale di qualunque pasto, anche al sacco.
Ci è stato suggerito di utilizzare il delivery e lo abbiamo trovato un po' deludente, essendo arrivati dopo le 19.
Abbiamo risolto guidando 15 minuti fino a Tesco per prendere qualcosa per la cena, la colazione e il pranzo al sacco del giorno dopo.

Good central location in Banchory. Good restaurant food reasonably priced. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Welcoming staff who went out of the way to show us our room. Good value for the money and decent hand pull in the bar.
Sliding bathroom door runner was very sticky and was difficult to open from the bathroom side in particular.

Was close to Banchory park where I was doing the aberdeen kiltwalk so was beneficial for that purpose.
The room was very dated and in need of an upgrade or refurbishment. Bed and pillows where very hard. 1 of the towels where dirty with stains. The receptionist was absolutly fantastic and made me feel welcomed. Paid £80 for the night with no breakfast as they are in need of funding for upgrading or refurbishment. I would say this is a £40-£50 hotel room per night. All in all I would give this hotel a 7/10.
Friendly busy social hub for the town, good prices for food and drink, varied menu. Ample car park, and sizable room with desk for working, good shower. There had been torrential rain in the afternoon and floods throughout the town, the kitchen and some staff quarters were flooded, but the kitchen still manage to provide some soup and sandwiches at night for supper, full menu was back on the next night.
There was a bit of noise from a zoomba or line dancing class going on downstairs, but no big issue and it stopped at 9pm.
